The bell just rang for the last period. I had English/ Literacy. Only an hour left in this h*ll hole. Jake, Brennen and I were in this class together, and so were those 3 girls, Devyn and Tara. The other girl's name is Xepher. I also introduced them to Shea. They all seemed to like her.
"Good afternoon class!" "Good afternoon Mrs. Korce." Everyone said grumply. "Today, I want to tell you about something called a soulmark." Once she said that, my full attention was directed to her.
"A soulmark, is something that two people have. It may come once you are born, or, it might come later in life. Everyone might not have it. Only people who are destined for a soulmate, have a soulmark. Only two people have the same soulmark. That means that the two of them were made for each other, and are destined for each other." Mrs. Korce told us. I then suddenly blurted out, "What does a soulmark look like?" "Great question Colby!" She smiled. "No soulmarks, are identical. Only the two who are destined for each other, have the same soulmark. Also, sometimes with your soulmark. Comes a number. And that number, is how far away that specific person is." Mrs. Korce added. I pulled up my sleeve a bit, and looked at the number on my arm. It hasn't changed yet.
