Inner Agent 8's (Mike's) P.O.V:

My eyes fluttered open, confused as to where I was. I stood up and took a glance at my surroundings. It was all just a blank white void, with bubble like things in the air around me. Each playing a memory from the past.

Memories from when I went through the Deepsea Metro with the help of Pearl, Marina and Cap'n Cuttlefish. Arriving at the surface for the first time, meeting Sarah. Making more friends. Getting adjusted to the inkling life. Eventually having Sarah as my girlfriend. And all of the hangout sessions and dates that followed.

I smiled to myself as I continued to walk through the blank void, staring at each and every one of these memories playing back. Me laughing with all of the people that had helped me through everything. Cuddling with Sarah on the couch. Being with my friends. All the Turf Wars and Ranked Matches we played.

However as I continued, I noticed that each flashback had got more and more blurry. My head began to feel fuzzy.

Wait, who are these people again? Why was ever friends with inklings? Why did I ever consider an inkling girl as my partner? Whoever she was.

Grabbing the top of my head with both of hands, tears swelling up in my eyes, the question hit me.

Who am I?

To my surprise, I got a response.

"You're Octarian Number 10008, serving as one of the highest ranked Octarians. You are one of the most skilled and intelligent soldiers the Octarian army has."

I looked up in a mild panic, trying to see who was the one that was talking, but noticed something else. The once white and bright void became a black one. The memories fading away and replaced by new ones.

Another Octoling appeared right in front of me, except it wasn't just any Octarian, it was...me. He smirked at me as he extended his hand, "Come." Though, I didn't take it. Slapping his hand away, I stared at him menacingly. "Who am I. Why was I so happy there? Let me go back." I demanded.

The replica of me, who had his own goggles on, scoffed. "I'm not letting you go."

"I was happy there. I don't know who they are what they are to me. But I was happy with those inklings. Happier than I'll ever be taking your side."

"Look, Mike. You weren't happy there facing all the prejudice that the inklings had thrown at you. You were treated as a lesser being. But here, in the Octarian army, you can be more than an equal. With your strength, power and smarts, you can have power over everyone else. You can make friends left and right in a snap with your status. So come on, just join me."

I furrowed my eyebrows at him and denied it once again. "Get out of my head." I grumbled. "But you-"

"I SAID GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

Without even thinking about it, I had swung and punched the other me, knocking him off his balance. However, it only made him more aggressive.

"Fine then. I know what I'll do."

He disappeared in front of my eyes as the void once again flashed, blinding me for a moment. I opened my eyes and looked at the floor I was now standing on. It was a metal platform, and I was getting serious Deja Vu.

It looked a lot like when I fought my Inner Agent 3. But wait...how did I remember that?

Without even realizing it, an Octoshot appeared in my hand, and the other me slammed down on the battlefield with a Splashdown. Except this time, instead of being a purple color, he was a mix of blue and green. His ink was the same thing.

"Bring it on!" I yelled, gripping my weapon tighter.

"Where are we heading."

"To Cephalon HQ. DJ Octavio wants to speak with you."

Agent 3's (Sarah's) P.O.V:

"WE HAVE TO GET MIKE NOW."

I yelled, slamming my fist onto the table. My eyes were tired, yet tears seemed to want to escape every second. We had returned to HQ with the rest of the Mini Zapfish, which I'm surprised they didn't take either, and stayed there all night. It was now the following morning, and I was really starting to get nervous and anxious.

"Sarah. We all know how you feel, but we have to focus right now." Marie calmly stated. "We can't just barge into enemy territory without a plan."

I gritted my teeth, holding back tears and frowning, and nodded regrettably. Isabel came next to me to comfort me.

"We'll get back the Mike we know and love.." Isabel tried to smile brightly, but her pain was still visible. "Y-Yea, I hope so. Because if we don't, I don't know what I would do." I responded.

~ 30 Minutes Later ~

"Alright everyone, take a break and freshen up. We have an important mission now and it is a time pressured objective." Marie stated firmly, with Marina nodding along with her. "We can't just take a break!" I yelled. "He could be in danger right now!" My body was shaking. I felt so weak, so tired and exhausted from all the emotional distress, anxiety and lack of sleep.

"C'mon Sarah. You need to rest more than any of us." Jake attempted to help me. "We all can't imagine what you're feeling right now and how much he means to you, but we can't work at our best if we're all exhausted." I looked at his hand on my shoulder, and gave him a tired nod. "I'll head out in a moment, I just need some alone time right now." Jake nodded understandably and left the room with the other Agents.

However, I stayed there. Thinking of what we could do to bring Mike back and save him.

I eventually passed out in my squid form on top of the planning table.
