Part 8: Meeting

"Dis is the stupidest thing I've ever been forced to wear. Get it off of me will ya?" Joey complained.
"You look hot Joey." I snickered.
"Fuck you." He threw a nearby pot at me.
"You could have given me brain damage Joey!"
"Good!" He crossed his arms.

"Okay, fine. Here." I throw him his clothes back and he angrily stomps into the bathroom to change.
"We've seen you naked before Joey why do you gotta hide?" Tea laughs.
"Eat shit!"

After the party, Yugi insisted he drive me home. He wasn't taking no for an answer. I wasn't going to say no anyways.

"So this vampire..." He started. "He doesn't harm you right?"
"For the thousandth time, no, yugi."
"Do you like it when he's in your house? I can stay the night if you wan-"
"It's okay, you know come to think of it he hasn't visited me at all today."
"Maybe he wasn't hungry?" Yugi shrugged.

"He's always hungry though."

I check my phone to see if the camera's in my house. Nothing there.
"That isn't going to work y/n, vampires can't be seen on footage or in mirrors."
"Oh yeah."

A notification quickly pops up from the news, when I read the new article. My stomach dropped.
"What?" Yugi said as he noticed me in his mirror.
"There have been 4 more deaths today."
"What? Why would he want to kill now?"
"I don't know!"

"Y/n, please! Let me stay!"
"He'll suck your blood anyways yugi, he wont kill me, but I dont know about you!"
"I'm driving you to my place."
"He knows where you live."
"Then-"
"He can smell my scent, but he doesnt like doing that because he feels like a dog."

"Hmp..." Yugi stopped at a stop light, but was very tempted by driving us somewhere other than my house."
"Ill be okay Yugi, I'm just worried about you."
"Okay..fine, ill drop you off at home."

Yami POV
I tap my foot impatiently as I wait for her arrival. I look around her home to see pictures of her mom and dad.
"I wish I can take pictures.."

I was here for 3 hours, when I saw her partying with her friends I couldnt help but smile.
It was like all her problems disappeared.
I heard a car park in the driveway, I thought it could have been y/n, but i remembered that her cars window and engine was getting fixed.
I hid behind the couch when the door opened.

"Yugi, he's not in here? See."

I peeked from the couch and noticed a boy who looked a lot like me.
That was y/n's best friend if I was correct, and I didn't like him one bit.

"Maybe in your room."
"No yugi-huhhh, fine.."

I heard the door swing open, only for him to come back out.
"Your kitchen."

I heard cluttering so I guess he didnt find what he wanted in the end.
"I guess nobody is here.." He sighed in relief.

"See? I'm fineee."
"I'm just glad you're safe y/n." He hugged her and pure jealousy spilled right out of me.
"HEY GET OFF HER!" I yelled.

"YAMI?"
"Hi..."
"Is he it y/n?"
"Yeah..."
"Get behind me."

"Oh so now you're scared of me y/n?"
"You killed people today Yami of course I am!"
"Huh? No I didnt, must have been bakura or something.." I dusted myself off.
"B-bakura?" The boy raised a brow.

"Oh yeah..ehhh, white hair, about this tall, British accent."
"He's my friend! Why would he do that?"
"You're friends with bakura?" I glared.

I appeared in font of him and lifted the boy from his shirt.
"YAMI STOP!" Y/n demanded.
"Shut up. And you, why did bakura send you here?"
"Leave him alone you asshole." Y/n punched me multiple times on my side.
"Is he your boyfriend or what?"
"What?no! He's my friend you dingus!"
