you walked through the doors at county gent and walked up to the front desk. you are greeted by a tall man with a bit of a beer belly and beard. "hi i'm the new resident here at county. i'm Elizabeth Rangel." you told him as you shook hands with the man. "Hi i'm jerry, we've been expecting you. Now Doctor green wants you to fill this out and i will let him know that you are here." Jerry told you. "Thank you and it was nice meeting you." you waved as you say down in the waiting area filling out your paper work. it was mostly simple questions like your name, age, date of birth etc.
You got done filling the paper work out and You handed into jerry and he took you to see mark in exam one. "Dr. Green this is Dr. Elizabeth Rangel."
"Hello Elizabeth, it's nice to meet you i'm Mark Greene" He was focusing on putting in a IV because the nurses were busy. He turned to look at you and he held out his hand with a smile. "Nice to meet your Dr. Greene." "Please just call me Mark" you shook your head telling him yes. "well let me show you around. right here is exam one." we walked around as he pointed to the multiple exam rooms. "and here are the trauma rooms..meet doug ross our pediatric Doctor." "hello" you waved to him. "and this is carol Hathaway, and Doctor benton. Everyone this this is our new resident Dr. Elizabeth Rangel." "hello everyone" you smiled as the continued to work on the patient. "and over here is our empty Trauma two, and last but not least is the room where we stitch people up. There was another doctor in there stitching up someone as Mark Spoke to me. "Carter this is our new resident! Dr. Elizabeth Rangel" "Hello Dr. Rangel. I'm john Car- he stopped and looked over at me and stopped mid sentence. "i'm john carter." he tried not to stutter. "Nice to meet you john." you laughed. "alrighty" mark said as he walked out awkwardly. "does that usually happen?" "i've only see it happen with you." he laughed. "Trauma coming in!" carol yelled at you and mark. "alright here we go" you followed mark. you rushed to the paramedics getting the girl out the truck. "you got a young girl, 16, years old she jumps off her roof. her name is Ava." "hello Ava my name is Dr. Rangel can you hear me?" she made small grunts and she shook her head. "we gotta get these clothes off of her she's burning up" mark said. i began to get her jacket off revealing the cuts on her wrist. "mark we need psych down here." showing the cuts. he nodded and asked one of the nurses to get psych. "alright let's get a IV with some saline. and get X-Ray in here. her leg is broken." we had a portable X-Ray come in and we both stepped out as she was stable. "your doing good" mark smiled. "thank you" you walked back into the room and the girl was waking up. "Where am i?" "Ava your at county General hospital. do you have a number for your parents so we can call them?" mark asked her. "yeah yeah" she gave him the phone number and he called. "do you remember what happened?" "my mom and dad had got into argument and they left me at home, i've been like this for months now and they know they just ignore it." she said. "i'm so sorry this is happening to you sweetie, but someone is going to come and talk to you it's a hospital thing we have to do." i told her. she nodded her head and i went back to the front to get another patient.

At the end of the day i check on one more patient and went to lounge to get my coat. John was in there doing the same. "how was the first day?" he asked me blushing. "it was busy, but i loved it" you smiled. "that's very good." he said. "would you like to go out to eat across the street?" he asked rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "sure! i'd love too"
