When you first meet each other
~
(M/N) (L/N)
I sighed and rubbed my face as I slowly made my way to U.A. high school. After a full blown summer of training, and strengthening my quirk to the best of my ability, it was finally time to take my entrance exam. I still felt exhausted because of all the training I had done, but I was happy that I had improved. Even if it was only a slight improvement, I was still ecstatic that I had made some.
Don't get me wrong, having telekinesis as a quirk wasn't hard to master, I've always known that. But the heavier the object, the harder it was for me to lift. I grew frustrated at that weakness a lot. Especially because of how many quirks I'd see today that were so much better than mine. It was going to be very discouraging to see, but I had to remember that I was just as powerful in my own right.
As I made my way up the steps and through the huge gates of U.A, I couldn't help but look around and see how many students had already shown up. Everyone that I had looked at so far seemed extremely happy to be here. And I couldn't blame that, because I felt the same way. I smiled at that and continued to make my ways towards the auditorium with all of the other excited students with a hop in their step.
I looked around a bit more until we made our way to the auditorium and began to find our seats. I scanned the humongous room to find a section without any people, but there wasn't one. I looked around a bit more, but it didn't work. And so, I sighed again and made my way towards the farthest row in the back. There were less people there, which made my life easier. I wouldn't have to talk to people if the area wasn't as populated.
I took a seat located at the back right of the auditorium and began to make my assessments of the other students that were surrounding me. A lot, if not most of them were sticking out like sore thumbs, while others were pretty low key. I knew I was in the low key category, and right now I wanted to stay that way. People were all fine and dandy right now, all friendly to each other. But I knew it wouldn't last, it never did.
I mentally shook my head and carried on looking around until I heard someone sit down next to me. I didn't turn around all the way just yet, but instead, I looked at them from the corner of my eyes until I turned to look at them completely. Now, I've always thought that people spit bullshit when they talk about love at first sight, or that the world stops around them when they see someone that they eventually spend the rest of their life with.
I had always laughed at that because I always thought that something like that wasn't possible. But, I couldn't have been more wrong. 'His eyes are…..such a beautiful shade of purple.' I thought to myself as I continued to study him. Even though the bags under his eyes were prominent, they didn't make the color of his eyes any less vibrant. And even though his hair looked messy, like he had just woken up, it made him look even more attractive.
'He's so…..beautiful.' I thought dreamily as my mind began to conjure up different thoughts and questions. But I didn't really have time to think about it much because he turned and looked at me. He raised an eyebrow at me and gave me a very unimpressed facial expression. "What?" He asked in irritation. I think he was trying to be intimidating, but his presence alone had the opposite effect on me.
I felt heat rise to my cheeks as I slowly looked away from him. 'Oh God, his voice fits him so well.' I smiled at my thoughts as I looked at him from the corner of my eyes. He was still looking at me, but seemed to be studying me with interest instead of irritation. "Why do you keep staring at me? I've felt your eyes on me for the past five minutes." The more he spoke, the more my stomach flipped and butterflies flew around.
But I wouldn't lie to him, even though it would have been a better idea to. I slowly turned my head and smiled at him, which must have surprised him because he looked at me with wide eyes. "I'm sorry for staring at you, but I couldn't help it. You're just…..so beautiful." Now it was his turn to blush and look away from me. "Well, umm, thanks?" He questioned, scratching the back of his head.
'He's so cute!' I internally squealed as I gave him a brighter smile. "You're welcome." I said back, which made him turn to look at me again. "You won't think that for long, so I suggest you stop thinking like that." I frowned at his words and thought about them for a minute before I opened my mouth to speak. "Let me guess, your quirk tends to scare people?" I asked, and with his reaction, I hit the nail right on the head. "Don't worry too much." I whispered, which made a confused look form on his face.
"My quirk scares people too." The purple haired male continued to look at me in confusion before his eyes widened again. "W-wait you-" "You would think that telekinesis wouldn't scare anyone, but people tend to think I'll use it on them and fling them into things." The male gave me a very relaxed look and sighed. "I can control people with my mind." The male stated, which made my smile grow even bigger as I looked into his eyes. "Really! That's so cool!" It was a small one, but I could see a faint smile grow on his face as he looked into my eyes.
There were so many emotions flowing through them, but the one I could find the easiest was relief. "What's your name?" The male asked curiously. "My name is (L/N) (M/N), but you can just call me (M/N). What about you?" The male's smile grew a bit bigger as he answered my question. "My name is Shinsou Hitoshi, but call me Hitoshi." I nodded my head. "It's nice to meet you Hitoshi!" I would be lying if I said I didn't love how my words made his eyes light up in happiness. "It's nice to meet you too (M/N)."
