The green eyes I wanted to find

Chapter 1

My phone beeped suddenly. When I picked it up, I saw the sign "Message from Jonny" appearing on the screen.

"Hey darling, would you like me to pick you up from work at 6pm? We could go to the cinema... J"

Oh my god, of course I would, I pressed the green button and called him.

"Hi there, my dear", his calm voice answered the call.

"Hey Jonny, how are you, love? And, referring to your message, I'd love to!", I answered, still smiling my widest smile. He laughed quietly. "Okay, that's awesome, darling!" From the background I heard someone strumming a guitar, then the sound suddenly stopped and someone shouted something and bursted out in laughter.

"Oh come on, Chris, let me finish this call! I'll be right back in a minute!" "What did he say?", I asked confused. "Ah, just that I should stop flirting while we're working on our new song but, well, I won't stop!"

"Jon, I don't wanna stop either... But, I don't want to make Chris angry, and by the way, there's only one hour left until you're gonna pick me up so..." Jonny laughed again.

"Oh you don't want me to talk to you anymore, okay, it's allright. Yeah, I'll pick you up then, I love you!"

"No, no, I... I love you too!"

We both laughed once more, then we finished and I went back to work in my office. But my thoughts stayed with Jonny. I was so incredibly happy to have finally found such a loving and caring and loyal boyfriend as him. Many guys before him had hurt me so bad and it took quite a time until I started to trust Jonny. But now I was so glad that I finally did.

Oh, by the way, I haven't even asked him which movie we'd watch later... But well, as I knew him, he has planned that for ages, Jonny was not spontaneous, not at all. But still romantic... He was simply perfect.

The hour went by pretty fast and then, perfectly on time, Jonny stepped in. I really had to control myself to not jump on him as soon as he entered the room but I walked to him very fast and wrapped my arms around him.

"Hey Jonny", I uttered and just smelled his familiar scent and felt nothing but completely overwhelmed with love. He hugged me back and pecked me on my lips. "How was your day?" Awesome, I thought. Waking up next to you, keeping the last evening in my mind during work, then your message, now you're here, it couldn't have been better.

"Awesome", I then answered. "And yours? Did you record some new songs?"

He shook his head and grinned wryly.

"Will had some problems with his drums, he almost kicked them out of the door and also the others of us weren't so satisfied with our work. But I don't care, you're here with me now, that's all what counts now." I kissed him on the cheek and whispered,

"Let's go now", in his ear.

We left the building and turned left to his car. On the ride to the cinema, we listened to some Radiohead in his car and both sang along. He tapped the rhythm on my right leg and I just enjoyed listening to his lovely voice. "Which movie are we going to watch, actually?", I asked, breaking the silence after the last song.

"The third part of The Hobbit... Thought you might like it..." Oh yeah, definitely!

He parked the car near the cinema and then we entered the building and first walked through lots of take-away-restaurants.

"We could, you know, grab something to eat there later... My cooking skills have degraded in the last time..." He smirked. He's been single for a long time, too.

"Oh yeah, I really like the idea!" I let my arm rest on his hip. He put his arm around my shoulders and so we got into the cinema, looked for our seats (as I said, he had really booked the tickets in advance) and sat down. While the advertisements were shown on the screen, we shared some more short kisses and he let his arm put around me again. During the next advertisement for another movie, I noticed his fingers slowly tracing under my shirt.
