My mum spoke to my dad all night and morning, unfortunately he left early so me and my sister couldn't see him out. I guess I was annoyed at him and my mum for not letting us have 5 minutes with him. He's my dad after all.

Sometimes I wonder if he's ever thinks of us, in my opinion I have plenty of other things to deal with but that thought sticks in my mind.

Mum looked so tired making breakfast in the morning.

"Mum you ok" I asked.

She looked at me, her eyes slightly closed. She really did talk all night.

"Sorry love I'm too tired to talk can you make breakfast your self" she said loosing her voice,  then collapsed onto the sofa and drifted to a deep sleep.

My mum was so tired it was like she was drunk, for a start she should know that I make my breakfast everyday plus she left the oven on with a can of beans inside, I've never seen her so bonkers.

I sighed and walked up the stairs to my room.

Once I got there I checked my phone to see if Alex sent me another text but there was nothing....

I kind of wish there was because she didn't give me much detail about this "trade".

I had the code to my grandma's credit card because she trusts be like that, which now makes me feel terrible, I could easily get 10,000 pounds from that but I still had to get to my grandma's first.

Alex said go to the woods AFTER school but if I come before school then I get a whole day to look around and check if it's all safe so I don't get myself in danger later.

My only problem now was faking sick because how else could I stay off.

****

*cough cough* "Mum I feel so..... so...ill" I said in a husky voice.

"Stay off then" she said only opening one eye then shutting it again.

"But I'm so... wait did you say I could stay off?" I asked blowing my cover.

"Yeah" she mumbled.

Well that was easy, I quite like mum being over tired. Job done and all in one short morning,  not bad for the first time I've ever planned something.

I ran to my room then sat on my bed. I opened my laptop then looked around my room while it was loading. Josh was everywhere,  literally everywhere.  Selfies we took and just random pictures from when we were little surrounded my bedroom walls.

That's what I'm most upset about, I've known Josh since we were toddlers.  We didn't have boy, girl rivalry like most kids our age, we got on.

We met on our first day of school.

I walked in to school with abby, arms linked like best friends did. He was with a group of friends gigging at stupid things that we thought were rude back then. Everything was great until jessica and Georgia tripped me up and I landed flat on my face. This was before I'd even met them,  so you can understand why I hate them so much now.

Everybody laughed while I cried my poor eyes out, even abby started laughing but then a snotty nose boy grabed my hand and pulled me up from the laughing crowd. since that day we were inseparable.

Why did he have to be raised by criminals, also he told his mother I was Tegans sister which puts me in danger.

He clearly didn't ever love me.

Tears sparkled in my eyes as I tried to focus on what I needed to do.

"Google hurry up this isn't the time to freeze on me, I only need a flipping bus timetable to get to my grandma's then a bus timetable to Oakley woods."  I mumbled to myself.

Google was having a funny five minutes so I skipped that part of plan A and moved on to leaving the house and getting to my grandma's by foot instead.

I was ready for this now and slow Internet wasn't going to stop me.

I checked if mum was asleep and she was so I got my stuff together and was about to leave the house when....
