When I Betrayed Him

Chapter 2

Jirou's POV:

       "Nice to know that you know where your priorities lie, Kyoka!" Toga exclaimed, giving a big smile. "If you had left, who knows what would have happened, and I would've lost such an amazing friend..." She pouts.

        "Toga, she doesn't wanna talk to you. Obviously, she was close to that Kaminari boy. That Kaminari boy called her 'Kyou,' no one else did. She didn't want him to be the one to find out, am I wrong, Jirou?" Dabi asked me. He could tell I was upset about Kami being the one to find out.

         "Shut up... Sparky didn't deserve to find out like that. I should've kept my distance from him the moment I got into UA. I didn't think it would hurt to betray them," I mumbled, tears threatening to fall. Dabi grabbed my face and lifted my head up.

        "You chose this. You chose to be like this. Don't you dare show this weakness this way. You're okay. You have us now and forever." He gave a grim smile. 

        "Oh, and by the way, Tomura wants you to record a video or something!! He wants you to tell them you don't care about them so that they'll lose their hopes and they'll be easier for us to attack! And who knows, maybe we can get that Denki to join us!" Toga said and she smiled. She led me into a room for me to record. "Just say what's truly on your mind and then send it when you're done!!" She had me stand in front of the camera and started recording. 

        "Hi 1A, yeah, I'm the traitor, but I really don't know why it's such a big deal though. You thought you were safe, but you were all wrong." I said. As I finished my sentence, Toga left the room. "Why does this room smell like so many cherry blossoms..? I'm tired to the core, everything is a chore.." Cherry blossoms were always 1A's code for help. I quickly ended the video and sent it quickly enough. I left the room and sat back down, across the table from none other than Shigaraki.

        "Did you send that video to your weakly hero ex-classmates, Kyoka Jirou?" He asked me, looking at me with a grin. 

        "Yes, I did, Shigaraki. I'm holding up my side of the agreement, when do I get to see them?" I say, my voice full of concern.

        "Oh, you'll get to see them soon. I need to trust you a bit more, Kyoka Jirou. I wouldn't dare hurt them since you obeyed so well."   

        "I have one request, Shigaraki. Since I'm cooperating so well, I have only one request about the hero course."

       "Alright then, tell me your request. I might agree to it since you're being such a good girl right now."

        "Don't hurt Sparky, Mina, or Yaomomo. They all mean a lot to me, if you hurt them, I won't hesitate to swap sides once again." That's all I asked from him. 

        "Yaoyorozu is a powerful girl, and Ashido as well, even if she's not at her full potential yet. Although, I am willing to spare that Kaminari's life. Toga, Dabi, and Kurogiri told me how heartbroken you looked when you had to leave him. I will make sure he is spared, but only him." I thought about this. Mina and Yaomomo will probably stick together for a while, since I was closest to those two, along with Kami. 

        "Fine. But if Sparky is hurt in any way because of the League, I will be saving him. Hurt him and I will turn sides."

        "We won't hurt him if he comes to us or we face him. If it's other villains, you're not allowed to face them to save him. Understood?" I nodded my head. At least I knew he'd be protected from the League.
