When I Betrayed Him

Chapter 6

Jirou's POV:
 
        My vision was black. Was I dead? Did I fall? Slowly, my vision cleared up. I saw Sparky next to me and I was laying in a bed. A hospital bed. He noticed me awake.

        "Mina, Bakugou, Yaomomo, Kyou's awake!! She's still with us!!" Sparky cried out. They quickly rushed into the room.

        "You fucking idiot! If I wasn't fast enough, you would've died!" Bakugou yelled at me.

        "Well, I mean, that was the point..." I said, giving a meek little smile.

        "Jirou, Mr. Aizawa told us that your parents are staying in a secure place where the League can't hurt them. Unfortunately, no one knows particularly where except a couple of trusted policemen, Principal Nedzu, and a couple of our teachers. All we know is that they're living somewhere safe in America, but you can come back now..!" Mina said eagerly. She had a bright smile. My parents were safe from the League. Thankfully. That meant I could still be a hero.

        "Are they willing to let me come back..? I hurt a lot of people, but I really do want to become a hero." I gave a confident smile.

        "Yeah, of course!! Everyone missed you, Jirou, even Bakugou missed you. And that says a lot." Mina pissed Bakugou off with that statement.

        "That's because you, Shitty Hair, Dunce Face, and Tape Arms are so fucking annoying! At least Weird Ears has some common sense and she's not a fucking dumbass like the rest of you!" Bakugou yells at Mina. I chuckled a little bit.

        "Well, anyways! You're allowed to leave, they just were waiting for you to wake up! Come on, no one touched your dorm room! It's just as you left it!" Mina says, a big bright smile on her face.

        "Alright then, let's go home. I missed you guys, and the dorms. It was hectic there all the time," I say, getting out of the hospital bed. I went into the bathroom to change into normal clothes.

        I came out in my normal clothes, a smile on my face as well. I didn't realize how much I missed them, whether they were all dumbasses or not.

        I walked into the dorms alongside Yaomomo, Bakugou, Mina, and Sparky. Mina and Bakugou were talking about something and Yaomomo was trying to keep peace between those two. Those three were walking ahead of Sparky and I.

        "Kyou, I really missed you... Like a lot. You mean so much to me," He started. He gently grabbed my shoulder and spun me to face him.

        "I missed you too, Sparky. Not a day went by without me missing you. I couldn't spend a single day without me worrying about your safety," I said, making clear eye contact with him.

"Be mine, Kyou... Please. Losing you made me realize how much I need you. So, Kyou, will you be my girlfriend?"

I was breathless. The thing I had always wanted him to say, he finally said it. He wanted me to be his girlfriend. And I knew exactly what to say.

"Cheesy as ever, Sparky." I rolled my eyes, but quickly became serious. "Yes, I'd love to be your girlfriend, Sparky. You don't know how long I've been waiting for you to say that."

"Thank you, Kyou. For coming back. If I had lost you again, forever this time, I don't know what I would've done."

He gently pulled me closer and kissed me. I felt sparks fly(not literally) and it was gentle. Everything melted away, it was just him and I. Nobody else could ruin this for me. Nothing could make me happier.
