Chapter Seven: Telling Hannah
"Hey, Hannah can I tell you something," Evelyn asks as she walks into Hannah's room and closes the door behind her.
"Sure what is it," Hannah asks as she spins around in her chair.
"You know my ex-boyfriend I told you about while we were at UNI," she asks and Hannah nods.
"Well he came to see me yesterday." she continues.
"Really what did he want," Hannah asks.
"He wanted to tell me the truth,"
"Did you let him tell you or did you tell him to go away,"
"I told him to go away then I changed my mind,"
"So you listened to him,"
"Yes," "Did he tell you not to tell anyone,"
"Yes,"
"What was the punishment,"
"I'm not going to tell you that,"
"But you just told me everything else why won't you tell me this,"
"Because then you'll try to protect me,"
"Only if you need protection,"
"Exactly if I tell you then you'll want to protect me,"
"No, I won't just tell me,"
"He said he'd kill me,"

Evelyn receives a call from Ethan. "Hello," she says.
"Meet me in Trafalgar Square," he says.
"Why," she asks.
"Because we need to talk," Ethan replies
"Okay I'll be there," she says.

Evelyn walks briskly before entering the slight crowded square. She spots Ethan sitting on a bench near a fountain in the middle. She slowly walks over taking a step at a time, concerned of what might happen.
"What did you want to talk about," she asks once she finally reaches him.
"Follow me," he says and turns towards an alley and starts walking. She follows him unsure of his actions and whether or not she would be safe if she did follow.
"Ethan, where are we going," she asks worried something bad was about to happen.
"Just follow me," he says looking back his face stern. His hands move in his pockets if he were reaching for something. She takes a step closer to him. They move towards the darker part of the alley.
"Ethan," she asks, the terror seeping into the words. He looks at her for a couple of moments before pulling out a sleek black object from his pocket. She gasps a hand moving towards her mouth. He point the gun towards her, his finger hovered over the trigger for a moment then he pulled it. The sound of the gun echoed throughout the square as Ethan scaled a wall and climbing upon the roof of a building he nearly laughed at her stupidity.
"How did she not see that coming," he thinks. Ethan walks briskly across the roof until he reaches a ladder that he goes down into another alley. He puts the gun into his pocket again, and walks out of the alley heading away from the square and towards his apartment building. When Ethan reaches his apartment building he walks in and towards the stairs.
"I hope no one saw me," he thinks. He walks into a flat that him and his friend are renting.
"Hey man where did you go," his friend asks.
"I had to take care of something," Ethan replies and he goes into his room. He pulls the gun out of his pocket and he puts into a small black box. He puts the box into his closet covering it with other boxes incase the police came looking.
"Do you want to go to a club later, and get your ex off your mind," David asks from the living room. Ethan turns in that direction before walking out there. Ethan looks at him before replying,
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," he says even though he knew she was most likely lying dead in the square.
