don't say goodbye
that will give me something to hold on to
so just leave
so i don't have to cling to the word goodbye
like a lifeline
it's pulse already gone
but i won't stop shaking it
and yelling
"please come back"
why do i still hold onto 'goodbyes'
if our love has
flat lined?
