I WAS busy studying some data when someone just barged in my office. My eyebrows furrowed in frustration. I strictly told my secretary not let anyone enter because I don't want to be distracted. I need to finish this the entire data for our new Software as soon as possible for the upcoming international board meeting. It's been two days since I last saw her. I smiled at the thought of her kissing me in the cheecks. It sounds gay but it makes my heart beats so fast. I missed her already.
“ Honey. Why didn't you come at my birthday party. I was expecting you there for me to finally introduce you to everybaody as my fiance.” She pouted. I felt disgusted by the way she looked. She is nothing compared to my lady. Lumapit pa ito kung saan siya nakaupo at nagbend. Kitang kita ang kanyang cleavage ngunit ni katiting ay wala akong naramdaman.
“ Get out!” I coldly stared at her.
“ Honey I missed you. I forgive you for not coming to my birthday party” she smiled and touch my arms. I cringed by the feeling of her hands.
“ There will be no engagement between the two of us. Now get out of my sight!” I sternly said
I felt more disgusted when she abruptly sat on my lap.
I was ready to push her when I heard a noise.
“ My lady” I whispered and realized that Ivy was still siiting in my lap. I harshly push her and she fall on the floor. The only person I cared in my life is standing in front of me and da*n I didn't want her to misunderstand anything.
“ Suit? Oh honey I didn't know you haave already made a suit for our engagement party” I was caught off guard with what Ivy said.
I saw my lady looked down as if she thinking and looked up towards my direction. I felt emotions I haven't felt before. I was scared to lose her. I saw hurt in her eyes.
“ Here it is Sir. Your suit is ready to wear on your engagement” she said and turn her back on us. I hurriedly followed her.
“ Caleb!” Ivy screeched.
I'll deal with this bitch later. I ran as fast as I could to catch up with my lady but I was too late.
I saw my secrety slouching in his desk and he is in deep slumber. My blood boiled and slammed his desk. I saw his eyes widen.
“ You are fired!” I angrily said and immediately take the satirs hoping that I'll catch up with my lady.”
“ I'm sorry my lady” I spoke through my mind.
I was relieved when I saw her figure coming out the building but my anger fueled when I saw a man with his arms around my lady's back.
“ Alysa Kate!” I didn't care when everbody looked at me when I suddenly shout her name.
ALYSA KATE POV
Hindi ko mapigilang maluha dahil sa pangyayari kanina. Mabilis akong pumasok sa elevator at paulit ulit na pinindot ang close button. Ngunit bago sumara ay nakita kong tumakbo palapit si Caleb patungo sa elevator.
What am I even thinking? Na magkakagusto sa akin ang isang CEO. I laughed at that thought. Sa lahat kasi ng lalaking nakilala niya na ang habol lang sa kanya ay ang kanyang katawan kaya naman hindi tumatagal ang kanyang naging karelasyon. Pero simula noong nakilala niya si Caleb ay magaan ang pakiramdam niya sa binata. Sabi nga nila Don't expect too much you'll end up digging yout own grave.
Pagak siyang tumawa at pinunasan ang mga luha. Seems like this is our last encounter Mr. CEO.
Pagkarating niya sa ground floor ay dali dali siyang lumabas, ngumit biglang may humablot sa kanyang mga kamay. Hindi niya ina asahang makita ang unang nagsabi at nag tiwala sa kanyang kakayahan na maging isang beauty queen.
“ T-tyler” Nagulumihanan kong tanong.
“ One and only” Ngumiti ito ng malapad at inakbayan ako.
“ anong..” pagtatanong ko sana ngunit dumagundong ang pamilyar na boses sa buong grounnd floor. Napansin kong natigilan ang mga tao at kuryosong tiningnan ang kanilang CEO na sumigaw.
“ Alysa Kate” Nagulat ako sa pagsigaw neto ngunit mas pinili kong hilain si Tyler palabas.
“ Let's get out of here.Tyler, where is your car?” nanginginig kong tanong. Mabuti nalang at hindi na nagdalawang isip ang binata. Siya na mismo ang humila sa dalaga at sinakay siya sa kotse.
“Alysa Kate!” pag hahabol sa kanila ni Caleb. Ngunit mabilis na pina andar ni Tyler ang kotse hanggang sa hindi niya na matanaw ang kinaroroonan ni Caleb. Napabuntong hininga nalamang ako.
“ I am waiting for your explanation Kate” seryosong saad ni Tyler habang diretsong nakatingin sa dinadaanang kalsada.
