I took her back to her house and laid on her bed with her. We had slept here together many times so it wasn't unusual. Our legs were entwined and we were hugging.
"Why do you always blame yourself? It makes me sad when you're in this state."
"Because it is! It's never Yuna's fault she just a kid and I'm an adult and I should ne taking care of her but I always fail."
"Yoire doing great you know. When you first told me when we 13 that you had a kid I was so surprised but I knew about. I didn't help you though. You did it all on your own. You're great and I love you a lot."
"Thanks C. I love you a lot too. Can we got to sleep for a bit? Wait what about your job."
"My shift was over I was just waiting for you. And yes we can go to sleep for a bit."
She went to sleep. I didn't though.
I just watched her sleep.
Because even though I didn't want to admit it did love her.
I was in love with her.
But she was straight.
So it couldn't be.
And with those thoughts I drifted off to sleep.
