"Can I stay with lily for the night?" I hear, I turn to see maya "uh yea do you have clothes there?" I ask and she nods "have fun kiddo" I say she hugs me and leaves.
"Listen...I need a favour..." I groan at that
"What is it mate?"
I turn to Nate.
"Can I stay with you for a while shit isn't great at home.."
I sigh "yea sure" he smiles and hugs me. I hug back.
"Thank you..for uh letting me stay..." he says sitting next to me "I could use the company I guess." I say in a low voice
"You said..you knew how it felt..." I say "uh...yea. My dad left when I was 5." He says "that's why you were so close with my dad?" I ask and he nods. He stands up and picks up a photo smiling slightly
"When was this?" He asks showing me the photo
"Just over 5 years ago? I was 12 we had gone to the beach and dad threw mum into the water for stealing his sandwich" we both chuckle
"Then mum found out about the gang...she was distant...then she got sick" I say my smile fading. He puts his arm round my shoulder and I lean into his chest. "Can we play a game?" I ask "to get my mind off things?" I add and he nods . We sit down and decide to play 20 questions
"Ok soooo what's your full name?"
He asks
"Arabella Haven"
"I thought it was grace?" He asks and I smirk
"No. Arabella grace has far too many articles about her." I answer and he laughs "what? I'm not so innocent." I laugh "ok so what's your favourite thing to do?" I ask and he smirks "won't say that..." I gasp and whack his arm "EW!" We both burst out laughing "uh I like cooking." "You like cooking?" I ask and he looks embarrassed. "Yea" "lets bake cookies" I say "YASSS" he yells making me laugh we jump up and get all the stuff we need.
Ok so moral of the story...we made the cookies but...we made a large mess
"If you hadn't of shoved my face in flour I wouldn't of thrown the bag over your head Bella" he laughs suddenly he slips on an egg and I burst out laughing "are you okay" I ask through laughter and he just lays on the floor laughing, accepting that he just fell on his ass.
"Oh my god" he laughs. I grab his hand and pull him up, stepping back slightly as we were center meters apart. "Sorry" he says. "It's okay" I say.
