Yuji's ears perked as he heard the cheers of the opposing team. He has to admit, it was hella catchy. He began humming along with the cheer since as it was now stuck in his head. Daichi smacked the back of his head for the nth time today. "Hey, if you're gonna cheer for someone, cheer for your own team."
"I did, but nerdy here told me off." he gestured to Tsukishima. "It's because you're embarrassing as hell." Tsukishima retorted. The two started fighting again, Yuji reaching to steal his glasses, and Daichi yelling at them once again.
Both teams started warming up. Coach Ukai spiked the ball while the members received it.
"RoLLinGeu SANDA!" Noya yelled as he did his rolling receive. Yuji and Tanaka cackled at the ridiculous yell and started mocking the libero while the other team looked at him with a shocked face. "Watch me, Tanaka-san." Yuji whispered to his friend. As Ukai spiked the ball to Yuji, he did the libero's stunt "rOLLiNgEuu THANDA"
"DOUBLE!"
He rolled twice and knocked Tsukishima over, making the middle blocker fall. The rest of the team, along with some Dateko players and the crowd laughed at this. "YUJI! HOW DARE YOU MOCK ME HUH? YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THIS!" Noya yelled as he marched to the model.
After the chaos, the two teams lined up and bowed. "Let us play!"
Yuji made his way to the bench and watched the match. "GO! GO! LET'S GO! LET'S GO DATEKO!"
Yuji fidgeted in his seat as he silently hummed the opponent's cheer. The players got in their positions. Kamasaki served the ball and Daichi received it to Kageyama, who set it for Hinata. The opposing team managed to block the ball. However, Hinata hit it down and it managed to go between the net and the block.
"Nice one, Hinata!" Yuji cheered. "I thought their block was a bit late." Takeda said as he looked at Aone. "Other teams predict the ball and jump. However" Ukai looked at the opponent. "What they do is read blocking. Dateko's lead blocker jumps after the ball as been tossed. He isn't gonna be fooled by some decoy."
