Chapter 20

All night I was woken up every half an hour by Fletcher crying, This resulted in me looking like a zombie the next morning when Flynn arrived with the car seat and coffee. "Thank you Flynn." I grumbled holding my hand out for the paper cup. I groaned as I took a sip and felt the warm caffeinated liquid slip down my throat. "Did he keep you up much?" He asked scooping Flynn out of his cot and cooing at him. "All fucking night!!" I replied glaring at the rather adorable culprit in my Fiancée's arms, who was awake and blinking his large blue eyes, Flynn sighed and looked down at the little monkey. "You're going to be a handful buddy!" He exclaimed looking at our son. Then, the nurse came in with a clipboard with a form on it and asked, "Hey Lilia, Flynn and Fletcher. Are you guys ready to go home?" I nodded leaning over to coo at my little boy. she smiled and held out the clipboard and a pen, "Great you just need to sign here and you're all good to go." she beamed at me while I grabbed the pen and scribbled my signature on to where she indicated. She smiled and left the room as we started packing and cleaning everything up. Fletcher was dressed in a baby blue Babygro that had a pattern of yellow lightning bolts across it. I placed him in his car seat and buckled him up trying not to wake him up as he had fallen asleep in Flynn's gently rocking arms while the nurse was talking to me. Then I grabbed the thick blanket out of the cot and tucked it around him. We were so ready to go home. Walking out of the hospital five minutes later felt surreal. Flynn was holding my hand with one hand and in the other he was carrying Fletcher in his car seat. Our white Lamborghini truck was parked in the closest spot to the entrance Flynn could get. I opened the back door for Flynn to put the car seat in then clambered into the passenger seat shutting my door behind me and buckling myself in. pulling my phone out of the bag at my feet I connected it up to the Bluetooth and dialled Kylie's number. "Hey Lil." Michaels voice came through the speaker. "Hey Mike, we're on our way home now." I said not at all phased that he was answering Kylie's phone Flynn chuckled and got in to the drivers side of the car and we set off home.
