"Mom, we're home!" Frisk announced.

"Ah, welcome home my childrens." Toriel greeted. "What would you like for dinner?" She asked. However I wasn't paying attention at what she and Frisk were talking. That's because I was too busy thinking how to tell mom about (Y/n) coming over tonight.

Normally, it wouldn't be big deal to tell your parents a friend is coming over, but when it's only you and your sister, that friend is a boy, even more so one you like it becomes very difficult.

"Chara? Are you ok?" Mom asked, snapping me from my daze.

"Nothing mother."

"Chara, listen. You only give things much thought when it's something serious, and you were spacing just now. So tell me, what's wrong?" After a deep breath, I answered.

" We invited (Y/n) over tonight. Frisk did it on the moment to help me out after I was a little sad he said we're friends, and he accepted."

Mom stared at me for a moment, then she took a deep breath as well. "It is alright if (Y/n) comes over." Both Frisk and I looked in surprise.

"Really? Thanks mom! Thank you so much!" I thanked her, and she giggled.

"I too used to make silly things back when... I liked him." She grunted a little upon mentioning a person we all know well.
"Once, I was about to confess without thinking, but I suddenly panicked and told him I love lemonade" She started to laugh " And the next day, he brought me a whole barrel!" Me and Frisk also laugh at her little story. "Anyways, if he's coming over ee should make a good impression. What should we have for dinner tonight?" Toriel asked.

"How about chicken steak, and pie at dessert? Don't worry, he is not vegan or allergic." Frisk suggested.

"Great idea my child! Why don't you go get the ingredients from the fridge?" Mother requested her. After she left, mom noticed that I still had an insecure face.
"What's wrong Chara? I told you it's ok!" Toriel reassured me.

"It's not that mom. It's just..." I sighed."I decided what my feelings are, and I know they are true, but still, even if we do end up dating, what if things don't work out between the two us? What if we don't go along well?"

My mother kneeled down to my level, and put her hands on my shoulders. "Listen Chara. Your fate, your decisions, your live lays on the hands of one person. You. If what you feel is indeed true, then you don't have to worry. Stop asking questions like what if, what happens when, and things like that. (Y/n) will love you as long as you love him as well."

I smiled upon hearing her wise words." Thank you mother. I need to hear that."

"Now, let's go! As I said, we want to make a good impression right?" She stood up, and we headed to the kitchen.

(Y/n)
P.o.v

Right now, I was in front of Chara's place, the door being right in front of me. I sad a backpack that contained some spare clothes and my toothbrush. Lifting my hand towards the bell I ring, and wait patiently. After about a minute the door opened, revealing Frisk.

"Hi (Y/n), Come on in!" She greeted with a smile on her face. After greeting back, I take a few steps inside, and stop to take off my shoes, also leaving my backpack at the entrace. Walking further in I reached the kitchen, where a certain old lady was busy with the oven.

"Ah, hello (Y/n). Welcome to our house." Toriel greeted me.

"Hello miss Dreemur, thank you for letting me stay over tonight." I said. Her eye twitched a little, and she turned to face me.

"Please just call me Toriel. Now take a seat, we need to have a small chat."
She demanded with a serious face. Uh oh, I hope I'm not in trouble."First off," she began "does your mother know you will stay here over night?" She asked, making me nod my head. "Good. You can sleep in the guest room. And you're NEVER allowed to go to the girls room. Understood?" She spoke in a threatening tone,I nodded my head again.

"Good. One last thing..." she said before turning around to grab something from a drawer, and I gulped in fear. "Chocolate. That's how you win her!" My slight fear was replaced with confusion.

"Sorry, what did you said?" Toriel giggled, and threw at me two chocolate bars.

"Listen. I know your date with Frisk went... bad. But you really should ask Chara on a date!" She suggested. "She always talks about you. She-" A scream echoed through the room, interrupting her.

"Ow, I hit my foot!" It was Chara, she was clutching her foot in pain at the door.

Toriel ran to her, and kneeled down to see what if it was bad. Her daughter leaned a little and whispered something in her ear, however since there was a distance between us I couldn't hear what she said. Eventually Chara got up, and walked to a chair like nothing ever happened, while Toriel went back to the oven. Because I was busy looking at Chara, who was still clutching her leg, I failed to notice Frisk entering the room.

She took a seat to my left, while Chara was to my right. The goat lady was now bringing to the table what seemed to me like it was kitchen steak, while wearing gloves, because it was just pulled from the oven. After each of us receives a plate, a knife, and a fork, we all start eating.

"Could someone please pass me over the salt?" Frisk asked. Then, both I and Chara have grabbed the salt container, our hands touching in the process.

We back away at the same time, both of us having a blush. Toriel was beaming at this sight, while I passed Frisk the salt she demanded for. Looking at Chara, she was somewhat embarrassed.
