E L S A

Although there were still students arriving at the dinner hall after skipping Principal Mickey's speech, the five of us were just about to finish up but I wanted to try and become familiar with a few of the other students before we left.

"So," I started as Meg was stacking up our dirty plates and glasses, "You have cliques here?"

"Oh, yeah. You can see the divide between the students right now," Esmeralda confirmed, motioning to all the different tables.

"Don't worry, we'll tell you who to stay away from," Jane added. "See that table?"

I looked towards where she was pointing. I saw three girls, one of which I already knew to be Jasmine. The one with light brown hair was pointing at a boy with glasses sitting a few tables away from them. She leaned in and whispered something, causing the other two to burst into a fit of laughter. My heart twisted at their cruel actions.

"Jasmine Agrabah, Wendy Darling and Snow White, the head bitches of our year. They're nasty pieces of work, so stay far away from them," Meg finished. She glanced over at the table and I noticed she tensed up when her eyes landed on Jasmine.

"Next are the beloved jocks. Aladdin Woolverton, Adam Villeneuve, Eugene Fitzherbert, Eric Lineal, Naveen Maldonia, Hercules Olympus, Tarzan Greystoke, Gaston LeGume, Li Shang, Fa Mulan and Merida DunBroch," Esmeralda named as she pointed to each person respectively.

"Mulan is the only female on the football team, which is really cool. Merida does track and archery and the guys do pretty much everything. For the most part they're fine, so they shouldn't bother you that much," Ariel shrugged, twisting her waist-length hair over one shoulder.

"'For the most part'? Seriously? You're dating one, for God's sake," Meg teased playfully, motioning for Ariel to pass her knife and fork to the front of the table where she was standing. She blushed and placed the utensils in Meg's hand.

"Really?" I wondered, looking at the table to try and guess which one would be Ariel's type. "Is it that one?" I pointed to the boy that was sitting in between Tarzan and the boy I was standing behind at reception. He had messy black hair, a charming smile and I could just about tell he had deep blue eyes.

"That's the ex-boyfriend," Meg informed with a playful smirk gracing her lips. My gaze fell on Ariel, who was still sitting beside me. She fidgeted slightly in her seat and she let her red hair fall into her face, covering her burning cheeks. I instantly felt bad for bringing up someone from her past and I placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to show that I was sorry without words. I think she understood as she turned her head and looked through her hair to give me a kind smile.

"Adam, the one with the long ginger hair is my boyfriend," She corrected after a few seconds of silence. I gave her shoulder a last small pat before letting my arm drop to my side. I viewed Tarzan's table once again and my eyes landed on a boy with long, ginger hair, sparkling blue eyes and a strong chin.

"He seems nice," I assumed, watching him as he laughed at something the boy from the office line said. The four all followed my gaze and stared at Ariel's boyfriend. Ariel blew a short strand of red hair out of her face and gave me a soft smile.

"No, Elsa, that one's my cousin."

Just as I thought I couldn't mess up anymore, I proved myself very wrong. I bit my lip to stop myself from banging my head on the table repeatedly.

"And that one's also Meg's boyfriend," Esmeralda snickered at the auburn-haired girl, who just stuck her tongue out at her. Ariel pointed at a different boy with long, ginger hair who was sitting at the end of the table and I nodded in understanding.

"Very funny, Esmeralda. Triton, take the stack of glasses over to the hatch, will you?"

Ariel simply nodded and grabbed the dirty glasses and followed Meg, who had taken the stack of dirty plates and utensils. Jane, Esmeralda and I sat in silence for a few seconds, just being comfortable with sitting in each other's company.
