Vacation - Kageyama Tobio 🏐

It was supposed to be a relaxing vacation for you and your boyfriend kageyama away from Volleyball and your 4 screaming children. However as the sun started to set on your blissful vacation home he grew more and more worried without your return.

He knew you could handle yourself from the way you beat his ass to the ground when play fighting but what if you had been cornered into a situation and were praying for him to help you out or if a group of people approached you and tried to kidnap you! He was torn between just accepting that you were a little late and waiting it out longer, or taking advantage before it was dark out.

"I'll just take a walk." He mutters under his breath he was just going to get some fresh air and hope he runs into you on the mountain path on your way back from some silly adventure you had gone on.

Throwing on his adlers Jacket, Walking along the path, the cool air helping to cool him down as he takes a deep breath. The sun was just beginning to set.

He begins to hear his name, and thinking that he's imaging things or some ghost possess the island, he pauses to take another whiff of the fresh air before turning back for the house to see if you'd arrived back and out of fear.

When he hears his name called again, he's positive that it's not an illusion, not to mention the fact that the voice sounded exactly like yours "I must be going crazy" he mumbles sweat trickling down his face.

"Tobi! " You pout as you limp out from a different trail weakly smiling as he rushes towards you all his emotions coming to a grounding halt.

He wipes away any fear he felt and wraps his arms around you, holding you in a tight hug and stroking your hair as you just rest on his shoulder.

"You scared me Y/N-Chan" the steady beating of your heart against his soothing. You mutter something but he doesn't listen, the pure relief he felt overpowering the fact that he felt like he could cry if he didn't want to keep up that tough boyfriend/dad image.

You bring him back to reality by gently tugging on his jacket, your lips brushing against his cheek as you pushed on his chest to give you both some distance.

"Are you okay?" He realises your body weight balancing on one leg. "My ankle is twisted. I tried to help a little boy who got his ball stuck in a ditch but I ended up losing my footing and falling down. I should probably have waited for you to get back instead of being a hero" the whine of the last sentence making him chuckle inside.

"Probably." But he doesn't have the energy to be mad, his fingers still playing with your hair in a soothing manner. "It's gonna get cold soon, so we should head back to the house. I'll make sure you are back to walking on two legs in no time!" He brushes some dirt from your face and laughs at the embarrassed look you give him, but he doesn't give you the chance to protest as he suddenly kneels down on the ground.

sweeping your legs out from under you and starts to carry you bridal style back to the house. He retrieves the first aid kit from the bathroom. He props up your leg and wraps it gently. You cringe a bit as he cleans up cuts from your face, wiping away dirt from the forest floor, but he kisses your forehead as an apology for the pain you were just put through.

As you look down at him you think back to what your best friend said last week ."Husband material, 110%!" The words causing you to Laugh saying them out loud. I might have to test that out for real one day."

He looks at you one eyebrow raised whilst packing the kit away. "I'd be glad to be your husband, although I don't think I'd be able to let you back out. You already scared me today"

"Touché" you smile wildly as he shakes his head at you "You're unbelievable".
