Dr. Geoff Wigington is a young zoologist living in Gainesville, Florida. He's a butterfly specialist, and he works at the Monarch Discovery Center, raising butterflies and breeding them. 

Awsten Kinght is an animal smuggler placed in Brazelton, Georgia, who keeps his life by finding illegally produced animals and feeding them for his boss, Michael Way, to sell to rich people with too much money on their hands. 

Both are sent to Kailua-Kona in Hawaii to find the world's rarest species of butterfly: a species called the Lexias pardalis, which is rare because it is half male, half female. (And yes, that is a real butterfly, google it)

However, they both need it for different reasons. Geoff needs to breed them and help them reproduce to create a whole flock, and Awsten has to grab one for his boss to sell, or he'll be 'taken out' (aka, killed).

When they realize why the other is there, Geoff and Awsten despise each other, as the other is technically in their way. But they eventually agree to help each other to find the butterfly. 

But the more time they spend together, the more that the two of them realize that they might be... made for each other?

Okay, back to the story shit.

Since my other fic, Crazy + Genius, is over (sad), I decided to start this. It's probably my most original idea lmao

Possible triggers: mild language (fuck, shit, bitch, dick, the works), and since Awsten is an animal smuggler, there will be mentions of animal abuse. 

Also mentions of death, graphic descriptions of blood and rape, and possibly a bit of cutting and self-harm.

I'll mark the chapters that hold these triggers.

Also, Mikey is plenty scary in this fic, idk if that'll trigger ya, but if it does, then please don't read this. Your safety is much more important to me than anything. 

I'll input anymore triggers if they come up.

Also, for the love of god, don't steal my book! I spend a lot of time and energy on my work (including lots of all-nighters), and I swear to god I will THROW HANDS if I see my work being copied. Thank you :)
