“Who are you?” I asked.
“Michael Sanders, didnt you get the note?”
“We thought it was just a kid playing around.” Megan said in a panicked voice.
Then a twig snapped in the distance.
“Hurry we need to get far away from here.”
“Why?” I asked.
“You do have the locket with you right?” Mike asked.
“Yeah.” I said back.
“Then we need to go fast, i’ll answer questions later.” Mike started running of into the forest, then Megan followed him. Another snap came from behind me. I turned around and this big gray scaly creature was peaking out of the trees. I screamed in my head but was too scared to scream out loud. I quickly ran toward Mike and Megan.
“Guys, hello, where did you guys go?” I asked trying to find them.
“We’re over here.” A light voice that sounded like Megans said.
“No where over here.” A light voice like Mikes said. It felt like the world was spinning around me. Then I saw Megan sitting in an open area. I ran over to her.
“Megan?” I said while I tapped her shoulder. Then she slowly turned her head towards me. It was the face of the thing I saw earlier. Then the girl grew bigger, the clothes ripping, her skin turning into scales. Then the creature let out a big scream or a roar. I fell to the ground screaming, then I felt hands on me. I turned my head, it was Mike.
"Get up boy, hurry!" I jumped up and we sprimted off the direction Megan was standing.
"Hurry, to my house!" I yelled out.
