"What are we doing at a school at 5:00 at night? And why are there so many people here?" Kol asked curiously.

"Hope is her somewhere," replied Bonnie stepping out of the car and looking for someone she knows. "There she is." Bonnie points to a small girl standing with three boys across from another boy with the entire team from a different school behind him. Although she was small, you could tell she was strong. Her hair was lightly curled and she was wearing a short flowery dress with a jean jacket. Her outfit was finished with a pair of healed tan booties giving her more height than she actually had.

"She's beautiful," is all Hayley can say. They begin listening to the conversation.

"Brett... I just wanted to say...have a good game." He held out his hand to shake.

Bretts laughs patronizing him. "That's cute Liam. Is that what they told you to say in anger management? Apologize and everything's fine? You demolished coaches car."

"I paid for it," Liam grits between his teeth. Hope, Scott and Stiles take a step toward the interaction.

"Ya you're gonna pay for it. We're gonna break you in half out there. And it's gonna be all. Your. Fault."

Hope and the two boys rush to Liams sides. Scott and Stiles usher the new beta away while Hope steps forward protectively facing Brett. "And who might you be hot stuff?" He asks.

"I'm Hope," she reply's squinting her eyes at him. "How old are you? Twelve? Are you even in high school?"

Bretts cocky smile falls. "I'm seventeen," he deadpans.

"Oh, just a late bloomer. I see. It's okay. Puberty will come eventually. See you on the field." Hope pats him on the shoulder and leaves. She smiles to herself as Bretts teammates begin to tease him.

"Oh I love her already." Rebekah says. Kol nods in agreement while Marcel laughs.

"My daughter is definitely a tough one." Klaus admires. The two lacrosse teams heads in different directions. Beacon Hills to the locker room and Devenford toward the field.

Rebekah looks to her left and sees a man a few parking spots away leaning up against a black Camaro with his arms crossed. "Ooohhh" she says sashaying over toward the mysterious man with dark hair. "Hello, my name is Rebekah. My family and I just moved here. What's going on?" She asks fluttering her eyelashes.

"A lacrosse game." He states not interested in holding the conversation.

"I see. And your name is?" Rebekah asks not taking the hint.

"Derek."

"Lovely name." Finally giving up she says, "well I'll just go back to my family now. Bye Derek." He nods his head giving a small wave.

"You do remember we are dating right?" Marcel asks her when she returns. Only receiving an eye roll in return.

"Wait a second" Kol says seeing a familiar face in a lacrosses jersey talking to Derek. "Is that..Isaac?"

"The guy you body jumped into?" Marcel asked turning around to look at the face that once occupied a Kol Mikaelson. Bonnie, afraid for Hopes friend, looks in horror not knowing the history between the two.

As Isaac and Dereks conversation came to close, Isaac saw the faces he had only recently seen in nightmares. Kol motioned for him to come wearing the classic Mikaelson smirk.

"Long time no see eh Isaac?" Kol put a hand on his old body's shoulder.

"What..what are you guys doing here?" Isaac asked terrified.

Klaus stepped forward. "We are here to see my daughter."

"Your daughter? Bonnie you know them?"

"Unfortunately yes. These are Hopes...biological parents," Bonnie sighed.

"These are Hopes parents?" He asked astonished.

Kol looked into his eyes compelling him, "yes and you will not tell her. Now run along you have a game to play." Isaac repeated the order and backed away before jogging to the locker room.

"Bonnie?" A voice asked from behind them. They turn around and to see two middle aged people. A tanned skin women with dark hair and a man with light hair in a sheriff's uniform.

"Melissa, Noah, how are you?" Bonnie asked awkwardly.

Melissa looked at the Mikaelsons. Her eyes met Klaus' and then Hayleys. "It's them. Isn't it? Hopes biological family?" She wore a sad and fearful look, afraid they would take her daughter away.

Bonnie nodded. Not knowing what to say, she simply said, "I am so sorry Melissa. They found me. I won't let them take her away." Before anyone else could speak up, they were ushered up to the lacrosse field where both teams were warming up. Silently and still shocked, Melissa took a seat on the bleachers in between Bonnie and Noah with the Mikaelsons behind them and Lydia, Allison, Malia, and Derek next to Noah. Noah grabbed the broken mother's hand and squeezed it in comfort.

••••

Rafael McCall walks in front of the bleachers and over to the other side of the metal bench to find a seat. As he passes his ex-wife he gives a wave to her and Bonnie. "How long has he been back in your lives?" The witch asks.

"Too long," the women answers giving a nod in return to the father of her children. "Hope and Scott aren't taking it too well. Scott told him all he was to him was a gene donor. Hope said they weren't her genes and left. I'm not going to lie, I was so proud."

Noah jumps in to the conversation, "it didn't help that he tried to steal my job as soon as he got back."

Melissa shook her head muttering, "what did I ever see in him?"

"And finally, to introduce your home team starters, from Beacon Hills we have, co-captain, number eleven, Scott McCall! Next, we have his fellow co-captain, number thirteen, Hope McCall! With number fourteen, Isaac Lahey! Number fifteen is Kira Yukimura! Number nine Liam Dunbar! Number twenty four Stiles Stilinski!.."

At the sound of his sons name, Noah stands up to cheer. Sitting back down he shakes his head, "finally."

"Wow look at you Melissa, raising two team captains," Bonnie says bumping her shoulder into the McCall. She laughs and smiles.

The Mikaelsons were amazed. Not only was their littlest member beautiful and strong, she was co-captain to a boys lacrosse team.

"And finally, the goalie, number six, Danny Mahealani!" The announcer finished being the crowd to cheers. The Beacon Hills team run to the bench in front of Melissa and take off their helmets.

Scott, Hope, Stiles, Isaac, Kira, huddle up near the rest of there non-lacrosse playing friends and begin to form a plan well within ear shot of their parents and the Mikaelsons. "These guys are huge. What are they being fed? Steroids? At least you guys have supernatural powers. All I have is little frail human bones!" They hear Stiles yell. Noah shakes his head at his sons antics.

Ignoring him Hope says, "okay, Isaac, Scott you guys watch Liam. Kira, you keep an eye on Garrett. I'll focus on the other team. That Brett kid was definitely something." They begin to walk back to the rest of the team.

"Yeah, I'm just gonna try to play lacrosse." Stiles yells after them. "And try not get killed by these drugged up super seniors."

"Stiles is right," Melissa agreed. " I'm so glad Hope heals quickly. Look at the size difference between Hope and the other team! Even without the super strength she could take them, but that's my little girl out there." After saying that Klaus and Hayley bore holes in the back of her head with their glares. That was their little girl.

Freya saw this and told them to relax. It was the woman that raised their Hope after all.
