Our New Found Hope

Eleven: With My Family

Bonnie, Marcel and Davina left the McCall residents, leaving Hope home with her blood relatives and adoptive mother. She had sent a quick text to her friends letting them know she wasn't going to make it to whatever they were doing, but to call her if necessary.

"So tell us about yourself."

"Well my name is Hope, I was born into your family but given to the McCalls. I have a 'twin' brother named Scott." Hope states blankly. Melissa stays quiet. Only wanting to interrupt when necessary.

"We didn't want to give you away Hope. I swear to you. We had Bonnie do a cloaking spell on you. She betrayed us and took you away." Klaus said earnestly.

Hope shook her head, "no. No Bonnie wouldn't do that."

"She hates us Mikaelsons, love," Rebekah said.

"What do you like to do? We know you play lacrosse, you were amazing." Hayley changed the subject

"Oh I really don't like lacrosse. There's a whole story about how I got on the team." Hope reply's thinking back to the day on the field getting Scott and Stiles ready for their tryouts.

"Before we get any deeper into my personal life, I just want to tell you, I'm staying here. I'm not going to wherever the hell you have been hiding for my life. I kind of understand that you guys didn't give me up, but obviously you didn't try hard enough to find me. I've been here the whole time. Here, with my family. And with my friends. All of whom love me."

"We love you! We tried to find you!" Klaus yells standing up. Hope, never one to back down from a fight and just as stubborn as her parents stands up as well.

In an attempt to diffuse the situation at hand, Elijah steps in and changes the subject. "I see you enjoy art. You are very talented. Just as your father."  Hope shrugs and sits down deflated. Melissa rubs her daughters back.

"Maybe we should let this settle with Hope. Give her time to process." Melissa suggests.

"Ah yes," Elijah says, "why don't you and a few friends come over for dinner sometime? We can all get to know each other."

Hope nods her head while Melissa speaks up, "that sounds like a great idea. I will call you guys when we can come." And with that the McCall stands up and opens the front door daring the Originals to disagree.

"She hates us." Hayley states stumping into the car. "My daughter hates me."

"We are not going to let her hate us. I am going to win my daughters heart just like every father should. What do teenage girls like? A new car?"

"Niklaus we are not going to be buying her anything in order to win her over." Elijah shakes his head.

"No I think Nik is right. A nice convertible would be lovely. I assure you she would love one. Maybe a matte black?" Rebekah chirps in from the back seat.

"Definitely get her a car," Kol agrees. "Might as well buy her a whole car dealership."

Also a little PSA, I really did not study TW or TVD/TO before writing this. I didn't think anyone was going to read it so I just kinda wrote what I wanted not caring about the accuracy. Sorry if you have a problem with it!
