Miles away from Yara, there is a place called Burbank County. Burbank County was a quiet place for the most part. Not many people know of it and it's actually quite far from NYC. Most of its inhabitants consists of the elderly. But there are few families that live there. One of them being the Campbells family. The Campbells consists of 2 fathers, 2 daughters , and 1 son.

Eric Campbell is known as Pops while his husband Nicolas is called either Dad or Daddy. Both men love each other very much. Their 2 daughters Naomi and Kayla are the princesses of the house. When they were little they were given everything they wanted.

Barbie? Have a bunch of those
Clothes? They each have a walk in closet
Shoes? Endless amounts can be found in the basement

Naomi is the eldest being 18 years old, while Kayla is 12. Their brother Benjamin is the youngest and the only one who gets away with making a mess in the house.

Naomi is also the second tallest in the house. She is 5'9 and a future college freshman who loves listening to some good music. Whenever she can she takes care of her garden in the back of the house. Since she's going to college a couple hours away, she can't maintain the garden as she used to so she's leaving that task to be fulfilled by her Daddy. He has delicate hands and compared to her Pops, she knows he won't get tempted to eat what's in her garden.

Naomi's POV

"Dad can you help me pack?"

Naomi, a future seahawk, has been procrastinating when it comes to packing. StonyVerse University is 3 hours away from Burbank County, so she has to make sure that she doesn't forget any of her necessities.

Move in day is actually in 4 days. A week ago, her and her Pops went to Home Depot and bought bins and boxes. Fortunately for her, StonyVerse is lenient when it comes to decorating. Their only rules is to not paint the walls, or to have any toasters, coffee makers, or bring any illegal substances in the room. Monthly inspections are done by the RA in order to keep order in these rooms. Not to mention that her residence hall is known to be very quiet when it's exams week, so she hopes that she can get herself accommodated pretty quickly.

As a Respiratory Care Therapist Major, she knows that a lot of work is awaiting to be done as soon as the semester starts. No one from her school is attending StonyVerse, so she's going to have to make some new friends.

But back to the situation at hand.....packing!

"I'm coming honey! Kayla can you start helping your sister get things organized, I need to complete this assignment first"

"On it! Make way! Kayla to the rescue!"

With a wide smile, Kayla entered the room saying, "My dear sister, I hear that you need me to put these big muscles of mine to use"

"Muscles? What muscles?" I couldn't help myself, I love teasing my little sister. Plus, I'm not going to be here for a while so I'm taking advantage of doing all the teasing that I can before I go.

"You're horrible Naomi! I'm just going to act like you didn't say that"

After shaking my head at her antics, I instructed her to help me pack some clothes in my favorite purple suitcase.

"Oh don't forget to put some pajamas, underwear, and my bucket hat in there"

"Sir yes sir! Right on it"

"You're honestly too much Kayla! What am I going to do when I'm in school? I'm going to miss hearing you make fun of Dora."

"Don't forget Diego either. Him and Dora can never seem to escape my wrath. I mean why ask about the location of the map if she herself knows where it is? Also, swiper is right there sis. Why not save the extra energy by not questioning where he is and just look in the direction the noise is coming from?"

"It's a kids show Kayla. What do you expect?"

"Something a little bit better. For instance, look at spongebob. It shows kids the importance of loving ones job, making friends, taking care of a pet, and always being nice to your neighbor. What does Dora provide?"

"You better stop hating! If Dora was a person she would be richer than both of us combined. You done packing that suitcase?"

"Yeah and I also put your documentation papers in the front pockets. Ohhh also, in the suitcase I packed some loose leaf paper and a box of pens!"

"You're the best sister a girl can ask for"

"You know it! You want me to pack stuff in this cardboard box too? What do you want in it?"

And continuing from there, we continued to pack for two more hours. At the aftermath my room was basically empty. The only things left was my nicely made bed, a couple sets of clothes that I can wear before move in day, and the family pictures hanging on my wall. My pops bought me a tapestry so I thought that would be enough decoration to put on the wall in my dorm. Not to mention that since my dorm room is not air conditioned, I made sure to get a small fan. Things were looking good. All I need to do now is sharpen some pencils, take some erasers, highlighters, post its, and place them inside my pencil case.

At this point, I'm ready to move in tomorrow!

"Girls! Dinner time!"

Perfect timing. We're having my favorite today.

Tacos!
