The Story's Of Sirisha

Chapter three

I don't remember much after my fight with "Aria", I remember there was a man, that's it.
I wake up in a room that I don't recognize. Confused, I get up and look around.
"What is this place?" I ask myself as I look at the paintings on the black walls. In the room was a soft bed, a few elegant paintings, and a dresser.

A man walks into the room,
"Ah your awake!" he says, "come with me, we will get you something to eat." I gaze at the man in awe. He is about seven foot tall with muscles bigger than any I'd seen before. He's obviously very strong and powerful so I start to wonder, why didn't he kill me?

I follow the strange man out of the room I was in and sit down at a beautifully crafted mahogany table. The walls around me are draped with silk tapestries depicting war and the furnishing is strange too. Nothing seems to match, yet it all flows together.

"Who are you?" I ask the man.
"I am kirito." He states, "I've been following you ever since you left the other teams." He takes a quick look at me and goes to another room. He comes back with a steaming bowl of what seems to be porridge. "Eat." He tells me.

"How did you find me?" I ask him, wondering why he is helping me, I still have no idea who this man is.

He doesn't answer me, instead, he grabs a glass and fills it with water. He sets it in front of me and sits down.

I wonder why he is helping me, I begin to eat the porridge. I grasp my stomach, it hurts, I haven't eaten in a couple of days and I think he knows this. I scarf down the bowl of food and I'm still hungry. The man gets up and fills my bowl up again with the delicious food.

I finish the food and get up. I start looking around to see if I can figure out where I am.
"Your still in the 4th sector." The man says, "They told me to follow you, and to make sure that you stay safe."

"Who's they?" I ask the man. He gets up from the table and walks over to me.
"They are the corporation trying to keep humanity alive." I look into his eyes, still trying to figure out if he is who he says he is, or if he is a hybrid.

"They took my Aria." I tell the man.
"We can get her back, we just need to work together." He goes over to the big desk and pulls out a large piece of metal. "Take this sword, it's made out of titanium and has a forever sharp blade." I take the blade from him and unsheathe it.
"It's pretty heavy." I exclaim. I wasn't expecting the blade to be that heavy.

"All the best blades are." Kirito says, "I've had this blade for thirty years," he explains to me, "My father had passed it down to me at the beginning of this war, he told me that if I ever meet someone worthy of it, to pass it down."

I'm taken back by his generosity, I'm not used to strangers being nice.

"Somethings changing in the eighth sector," he says, "more and more class-S hybrids are showing up. If we don't do something now, I fear there will be too many to clear it out, that's why I came to you."

"What do you mean more are showing up?" I ask the man.
"Ever since you and Aria cleared the third sector the hybrids have been trying to beef their numbers of strong class hybrids. They think if they have more of them that they will be able to stop us from wiping them out." He explains to me.

"So what's so important about the eighth sector?" I ask him.
"It's home to the lead scientist who made the discovery on how to create these hybrids in the first place. They have been using him to create stronger hybrids." Kirito says, "if we are able to rescue him, I think we might have a good chance at finding a way to beat these things."

That does sound like a good plan. But I'm still thinking about Aria. Where could they have taken her? I mean, she was out of my sight for two minutes before they took her so they still have to be in the area right?

"I can see your still worried about your friend Aria." The man says, "if you help me, I'll help you. First we can go rescue Aria from the hybrids, and then we can move into the eighth sector and rescue the scientist."

I admit that sounds like a good plan. I won't be alone in rescuing Aria so it won't be as hard. But that also means that I will have to help him.

"Done."I say without much thought. "We rescue Aria first, and then we go get this scientist guy."

The man goes to start getting all of his stuff together and ready.

"Don't you worry Aria, I'm coming!"
