Yes Wattpad,I know the text is too short.
"What the fuck does it mean, the round has begun?!"
"I don't know,Max!"
The American exclaimed, brows knitted together, his dark eyes scanning the area outisde the room they had spawned in. Max was peering out a broken window, carefully avoiding the shattered window pane. They had firmly denied the idea of picking up what weapons lay on the desk in the far corner of the room, neither having the heart to pick up the M16,sniper rifle, shot gun,or pistol.
"Hello?"
Both males jumped slightly as a frightened voice came over their earpieces, and Max was swift to respond,
"Minx?"
"Hey Max,are you okay?"
"Yeah,"
He answered, glancing over at the American before adding,
"Adam's with me,too. Do you know who else is here?"
"We're here,"
Two voices called frantically, and a third and fourth joined them,
"Us too!"
"Okay,"
Max says, dread coiling up in his stomach,
"So that's...Ze,Chilled,DLive,Entoan,Minx,Nanners,and I."
"Don't forget about Krism."
"She's with you?"
"Yeah,she's still out cold,though."
"So that makes eight of us."
"Yes."
"We-We're here,too."
"Mark? Yamimash?"
"And us."
"Pewds? Cry?"
"Alright..."
Max sighed, scratching at the stubble on his chin exasperatedly,
"That's ten."
"I think I saw Jack."
"Septiceye?"
"Yeah."
"Okay,thanks DLive."
"H-Hello?"
"Ohm?"
"Wh-What is..?"
"We don't know,"
Adam finally speaks up,eyes flashing,
"How about we try and meet up?"
Scattered agreements filled their ears,so Adam went on,
"I think we should try and get to the centre of the...wherever we are."
"That sounds like a good idea,"
Chilled says, and there was a muffled sound from his side, followed by him murmuring something barely audible. Max nods,
"So everyone needs to find the centre of the area, and camp out there,we'll figure out what to do when we're all there."
"Alright,I'll get Krism and get us both down. There's a clearing between all the buildings,I think that should be the centre. Just about."
"Okay,everyone head there."
"Okay."
"Alright."
The lines went quiet, with only an occasional scuffle. After a few moments, however, static replaced the quiet. Max turned to Adam and nodded to him,and they headed for the doorway, deserting the weapons without a second thought. They half-ran down two flights of stairs and out the front doors before actually making it outside. They blinked at the bright light that flooded their visions, and looked around,a bit startled by what they found. Tall seas of green grass spread out in every direction, rippling with an unseen wind. Behind them stood the hotel-like building they just escaped from, with multiple other bleak-looking buildings. A thick fog barrier surrounded the area, and nothing could be seen beyond it.
Max rubbed his arm, slightly unsettled, and Adam was eyeing the fog nervously.
"Well,"
Max muttered,
"Let's get to the centre,mm?"
Adam nodded mutely, and they set off at a fast pace, headed towards the cluster of buildings. They had only be walking for a minute when they heard shouting,
"Hey!"
"Oi!"
Confused and slightly alarmed, they pivoted on spot,to see an awfully tan male running towards them from the building they had left, with another black-haired male running behind.
"Vanoss?"
Max asked, and Adam arched an eyebrow,
"Is that Daithi as well?"
Soon, the other two males reached them, panting slightly from the run. The tanned one took a deep breath,
"We tried to get a hold of someone, but the lines went dead before we could talk."
Adam nodded curtly, and the black-haired man spoke up,and talked with an Irish accent,
"We saw you guys and thought we'd catch up. What's happened?"
"Everyne's going to meet up at the centre,"
Max prompts him,
"No-one knows what's happening,so we're going to try and discuss it."
"Who else is here?"
"Well,it's you,Daithi,Jack,Mark,Yamimash,Pewds,Cry,Minx,Krism,Ze,Chilled,DLive,Entoan,Nanners,and I."
"Jesus Christ..."
Daithi mutters,and the other male,presumably Vanoss,swore lowly.
"Let's get going,"
Adam urges, and the other three nod,and they start a fast pace, gazes trained on the clearing between the buildings. None of them, however, were prepared for what they found.
