Imagine meeting an accident and Klaus saves you...
Since my breakup with Matt which was a year ago, I haven't been in any relationship till now and no relationship means no actual drama, but unfortunately I was still involved in this supernatural drama in Mystic Falls. It all started when I, Caroline Forbes's cousin, (Y/N) Forbes, arrived in this town like fifteen months ago and Matt immediately took a liking towards me and we both were a couple for two months only, until he confessed that he was still in love with his ex, Elena Gilbert. I was disappointed but did what seemed right to me and put an end to our boring relationship. Not only this, ever since Elena started dating Stefan Salvatore, everybody seemed to take a liking towards this mysterious guy. I thought too that he was hot but definitely not my type and I wasn't interested anyways. Of course, the elder Salvatore had to come and screw up with my cousin's life, which I didn't appreciate about him much. But actually Care is much cooler as a vampire and we still love each other as much as we used to, maybe even more than that!
I was coming back from party in the dark when Caroline called up. (Italics is you and Bold is Caroline)
"Hello, Carebear!"
"(Y/N), listen, day after tomorrow is 'Lena's birthday, we need to plan something!"
"Care, you know I don't like that girl that much and on top of that, we don't even know each other properly and she's 'your' bestfriend Care, not mine!"
"Babe, for me, please?"
"Fine! I'm doing this cause you're my sister. What do you want me to do?"
"I need to think about that."
"Then we'll discuss this later, Care. I'm driving right now. Bye."
Just when I hung up, a car smashed right into mine, and I tilted as my car rolled over with me inside, breaking the glass and causing it to sting all over my body making me scream loudly. I lifted my head a bit, as I was hanging upside down. I saw a person coming towards my car and screamed thinking it to be a vampire. The person pulled me out of the car and I closed my eyes.
"Please don't kill me!"
"I won't hurt you, love." I recognised the voice immediately, now much more terrified.
"K..Klaus," I said looking at the original. I had met him before and knew how dangerous he was. I shook my head and tried to back away from him slowly but he just sped in front of me and held my shoulders tightly. "You'll hurt me, go away!"
"Love, I will never do that," he said seriously.
"Why not? And how can I trust you?"
"Because I...just know, I will never hurt you, okay?" He said with sincerity in his eyes. It seemed that I can trust him and anyways, I did not have a second choice. I nodded. I looked over my shoulder to see the other car leaning against a tree with the driver inside.
"He's drunk," Klaus said.
"Wait, so no vampire? It was just a drunk driver who met with an accident...with me!" I said shocked and actually happy to know that it wasn't a vampire attack.
"Yes, love. But I guess he's dead,"Klaus said gritting his teeth and looking away.
"W..what happened?" I asked him.
"You're bleeding, (Y/N)," he said and I felt the throbbing pain in my head again and the wetness of the blood on my head and limbs.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" I said taking a step away from him.
"No, just.." he bit his wrist and moved it towards me. "...drink this."
I hesitantly took his wrist and gulped down the blood through my throat as my wounds healed. I released his wrist as I felt better. "Thanks," I muttered.
"No need for that, love," he smiled which made me smile along a bit well. "Let's take you home."
"B..but how? My car is destroyed..." I said but Klaus offered his own car.
"Come on, you'll come with me," and he held my hand and dragged me to his car.
The whole journey was silent and he just took short glances at me which surprisingly did not seem creepy to me, instead they made me blush. Must have been the reason why Klaus smirked. He dropped me at the Forbes house and before getting out of the car, I thanked him.
"I told you not to mention, love."
"Klaus, why did save me, and, and why did you help me?" I asked out of curiosity, but I did not expect the answer he gave me.
"Because I care for you, (Y/N)" he said and kissed my cheek. My cheeks became red and I gave a silent smile.
