Chapter 4

Nicky's POV
"What the heck was that?!" I whisper/yell at Ryan. "IM sorry I just REALLY don't want to spend the next year on a bus with a bunch of immature teen boys!" She says, just then the bus hits a bump & we both fall down. I look at Ryan & burst out into laughter, she does the same & we both lay there laughing. The boys slide the door open, "Are you two ok?" Michael asks looking concerned. "Yah, were fine. Listen, I'm sorry about earlier. I'm still getting used to things." Ryan says standing up. "Its fine, and I'm sorry too." Ashton says scratching the back of his neck. "Lets all get pizza tonight & forget this ever happened!" Calum says punching his fist in the air dramatically. We all agree that once me & Ryan were packed, we'd stop at a pizza place. The boys went in the back room & shut the door leaving me & Ryan to unpack & talk. "So, do u think any of them are cute?" I ask Ryan with a smirk. "Um, idk. Mom has a rule & it includes no boyfriends." She says putting her laptop in her bunk. "I know, but were on a bus with three 17 year olds & one 19 year old... come on." I say trying to get her to choose. I don't really care about moms rule, I was gonna make this as fun as possible. "Ok fine. Well that Luke guy doesn't seem to like us, that Michael guy isn't my type, Calum seems more friendly, & Ashton is cute." she says shyly. "Oooooo so it's Ashton." I say laughing, "Kinda, but moms rule." She says looking in my eyes. "Well they're all pretty cute to me. I think Michael is my favorite so far." I say as I put the last of my items away. "So were done?" I ask Ryan, "Yup!" She says shutting her drawer. Just then the back doors open & the guys come in, "Ok, so it's 6:30 right now. There's a pizza place 2 blocks away... let's go!" Michael says running to the front of the bus. We all follow but Luke, "Hey, what's up with him?" I ask Calum, "He's not coming." he says getting off the bus with the others. "Oh, I forgot my phone! I'll meet y'all in there." I yell to them as I get back on the bus to retrieve my phone. As I walk to the back I hear Luke singing & strumming a guitar, I put my ear to the door to listen.
"...Hold you tight straight through the daylight, I'm right here. When you gonna realize That I'm your cure, heartbreak girl? I bite my tongue but I wanna scream out You could be with me now
But I end up telling you what you wanna hear, But you're not ready and it's so frustrating..."

His voice is so pationate, loving, but frustrated. As I'm about to turn around the door opens, "How long have you been standing there?" He says with a straight face. "I-uh, just got here." I say trying not to piss him off even more. I turn around & start to walk off but quickly trip over a suitcase, 2 arms grab me around my waist & pull me up. I look up & realize I'm in Luke's embrace, "Sorry..." he says letting go, "Its ok." I say brushing off my shirt. "I didn't see your shirt, I love All Time Low." Luke says shyly, "I know right! They're awesome!" I say, it may seem weird but me & Ryan have a lot of self confidence. Luke looks in my eyes & a small smile appears on his face, I realize how blue his eyes are & how his lips form a perfect smile. "We better go..." He says awkwardly, "Your coming?" I ask a little too excitedly, "I guess." he says grabbing a jacket. We both get off the bus & into the pizza place. I see the guys & Ryan at a table with girls I didn't know, one with black hair (Calum had his arm around her), & the other with blonde hair (she looked a little younger than the rest of us). I immediately get jealous when the blonde runs up to Luke & hugs him, I walk to the table & sit down next to Michael. As I see the girl hugging Luke she kisses him, I look at Luke & he looks at me, he looks surprised. I realize I might have feelings for Luke, but looks like he has a girlfriend. The couple sits down, Luke sits next to me, & the girl just on the other side of him. "Hi, I'm Maggie" the blonde says, "& this is Sarah!" She says pointing to the girl with black hair. Just then I feel Michael wrap his arm around my chair... then Luke grabs my hand & holds it. What's going on?
