We all sat in Ciel's study bruised and battered from the nights previous events. I'm actually surprised that he didn't want to talk about it in the morning considering how late it was now but he's the boss so it's up to him I guess. Ciel sat in his chair behind his desk, not taking his eyes off of me, it wouldn't have made me so uncomfortable if Sebastian and undertaker weren't also looking. I shifted in my seat while letting out an awkward cough before anyone started to finally talk"So I think we all have the same question in mind, how are you now alive, you were dead for a number of days, it's impossible" Ciel says while leaning forward, leaning his head in his intertwined hands
"Well the big guy up there of course" I smile while pointing up "He said he could bring me back with no consequences of me existing in your world, so here I am"
Sebastian grimaces at my words making me chuckle and undertaker laugh
"So your saying god brought you back to life? but why? what would he have to gain from it?" Ciel says with a frustrated look, I furrow my brows and pout
"I can just die for real if you have a problem with it you know, I don't know why he brought me back, he just did" undertakers smile drops from his face at my words, he walks up behind me and puts his hands on my shoulders, giving them a slight squeeze
"Not happening my dear"
"That won't be necessary, it is quit intriguing though. God bringing you back from the dead, you also seem to have had a change in appearance, why is that?"
"I don't actually know, perhaps it's a sign of me not being human anymore" I say with a shrug. Maybe I was half demon half angel, now that would be cool, I felt undertaker lift one of his hands from my shoulders and place two fingers on my neck
"Fascinating, not even a pulse" My eyes widen at his words and he laughs, so I'm dead? but not really, kind of like a Shinigami . . . only completely differently "She's not a reaper, but she's not an angel nor demon, more like a god"
A god? Could that be what God was talking about? He believed I was worthy of something and that he had a very important job for me
"A god? I highly doubt that?" Ciel scoffs with an unimpressed look
"As much as I want to agree, undertaker could be right. God said that he had a special job for me, he also said that I had proved myself worthy" I explain "But surely there's already a god of lightning out there, like in Greek mythology they have Zues and in norse mythology they have Thor, surely they can't all exist at the same time or even all exist at all, right?"
I was confusing myself to no end but it wasn't possible to have more than one god for certain things. Then again, I didn't think resurrection was possible either, even with the help of God
"Well not when you put it like that, all gods don't necessarily focus on the human race as a collective, if they did it would be chaos, to put it simply, they all have their own different realms to rule over" Sebastian explains with a hand on his chin
"Oh . . . so kind of like how norse mythology has Asgard?" I ask
"Precisely"
"Okay then, is there a thunder god for the human world?" This time Sebastian didn't answer but undertaker did
"Of course, but in order for you to have his power, he would have to be dead" He says with a smile, he walks out from behind me and puts his hand on Ciel's desk leaning on it while his other hand held his side
"My guess would be, Raiju, the thunder beast or thunder animal, he is a legendary creature from Japanese mythology, though depicted as a male animal, it wouldn't be entirely impossible for it to be passed onto you" He explains "He's usually seen as a wolf but in other cases can be seen as a fox, weasel, cat or a Japanese racoon dog"
