"I have business to attend to, if you need anything ask the servants for assistance until I get back" Ciel said ready to leave, sebastion, of course, right behind him"where are you going?" I asked curiously flattening my dress on the sides, I had to wear one of mey-rins maid outfits for the time being since there were no other female clothes in the manor but they were a bit tight around certain areas.
"Well there's no point in lying, i'm going to the undertaker to ask for information on the recent murders" he answered "I'll sort out your clothing problem while i'm out" He turned to leave but stopped when he heard my voice
"Can I join you, my lord, it would be easier to fit in if I understand my surroundings" I suggested trying to convince him, I'm going to be honest, I just wanted to meet undertaker and maybe anyone else that we see on the way
"No and that's that"
"Perhaps it would be alright my lord, considering all her knowledge she could help with your case" Sebastian persuaded, Ciel just had a look of annoyance on his face
"Fine just don't be too much of a nuisance" He said walking out the front door, I quietly fist pumped the air and followed the two, they're exactly as the are in the anime.
Ciel got into the carriage first then Sebastian held his hand out to help me in which I gladly excepted and sat on the seat in front of Ciel while Sebastian closed the door behind me. Not long after the carriage started moving.
"This is my first time in a carriage" I say while looking out the window into the lush greenery, it was cloudy but everything still looked so beautiful, I didn't know how to go about going home but I'll worry about it later, I just want to enjoy this for as long as I can
"how did you travel in . . . your world" Ciel asked
"Automobiles are common forms of transport where i'm from, nearly everyone has one, some of them can be cheaper than horses" I explain
"Tell me more about where you're from, New Zealand was it?" he asked leaning his head on his hand and crossing his leg over the other, a look of curiosity etched onto his face
"Yes, New Zealand is a beautiful country with rich culture and it's own language"
"Is that so? do you know how to speak it?"
"It's called te reo or maori and maori is also what most people refer to the native people such as myself as, I know a few phrases and songs, would you like to hear one, my lord" I smile
"A phrase will do" I clear my throat before starting
"tahi,rua, toru,whā,rima,ono,whitu,waru,iwa, tekau" I said with a smile
"what did you say?"
"I just counted from one to ten, my lord" Just as he was about to speak the carriage came to a stop, implying that we were there, this is so exciting, i'm meeting everyone and i'm having casual conversation with Ciel Phantomhive
The carriage door opened revealing Sebastian who gave a smile, I waited for Ciel to exit first before I made my way out, Sebastian helping me of course
"Thank you Sebastian" I curtsied to him with a smile
"Of course my lady" He bowed motioning towards the shop. I turn and look in amazement, it's undertakers shop. I eagerly follow Ciel to the entrance and he holds the door open for me, man being a girl sure has it's kinks
"Thank you" I walk in and stand next to the doorway, looking around, it was dark and coffins littered the room, it was also really dusty so I hoped it didn't mess up my allergies ,I was scared out of my thoughts by a familiar voice.
"Finally come to be fitted into one of my custom coffins, young earl" Undertaker giggled walking up the the front desk from the darkness
"No undertaker, I've come to-" He was cut off by the undertaker giggling
"and who might you be dearie? I haven't seen you around before" He asked while flopping over the counter with a smile
"My name is Shelby Malora, it's a pleasure to meet you and it's a long story for another time" I smiled politely "You must be undertaker"
"Yes now that the introductions are over, we have some questions about the case," Ciel says flatly
"You know the price" Undertaker giggled "All I want is a the gift of true laughter" Ciel was about to call on Sebastian but undertaker pointed his long black and perfectly manicured nail at me
"From miss Shelby" I'm pretty terrible at making jokes, I can only add funny stuff to conversations which is a bit sad now that I think of it. My sense of Humor is either really dark or really inappropriate, but I guess I have nothing to lose anyway
"Cover the young masters ears please Sebastian" I say, Sebastian does and wears an amused expression while Ciel rolled his eyes in annoyance, he may be mature but he's still a child. Everyone else may be okay with exposing him to such graphic scenes in life, but I will not do so myself. I clear my throat before starting with a grin
" A dirty limerick,There once was a woman from cue, who filled her vagina with glue, she said with a grin, if they pay to get in they'll pay to get out of it too" I smile, My mum told me that one, before my dad passed. I wonder if she's even looking for me, she never cared about what I did or where I was normally so I highly doubt it, but it's nice to think about, your mother caring about you
The undertaker laughed straight away, making the shop quite literally shake, I let out a sigh of relief knowing I didn't let Ciel down
"I've seen it, I've seen the real face of comedy" He laughed, I just smiled and watched as Sebastian dropped his hands to his sides with a grin on his face, Ciel rolled his eyes at the undertakers antics
"So are you ready to talk now?" Ciel asked, annoyance evident in his tone, the undertaker continued to laugh
"Of course young earl, that's earned a pile of information" He giggled while turning in my direction "Not like most ladies to have such vulgar jokes or any jokes in general"
I chuckled at his statement, i'll probably tell him at some point just not right now
"Well you see undertaker, I'm not like most women" I smirked
