Ace laid on the ground. Blood coming out of his mouth and his eyes in a daze. "Shit! Let's go , go!" The man in the drivers seat called . Ace groaned as he looked around . People started rushing over to him with panicked eyes.

"Somebody call the ambulance!" A lady calls out as she leans down the boy. "Kid you okay ? There's so much blood." She draws out as she places her cloth on the wound .

Ace looked around for Lia . When he saw her , her face broke down and she was shaking. Her eyes were already running with salty tears and she immediately ran over to him and crouch down to him. "Space he needs to have space!" The lady says but Lia didn't care.

She placed her hands on his cheek and started to cry softly. Ace heart broke at this and he lifted her chin. "It's gonna be fine. Don't cry okay? This is just a scratch." He mumbles out as he weakly smiles at her.

"Y-You're not gonna d-die right ?" She croaks out as the familiar sirens are heard .

Ace laughed at her and nodded his head. "I-I'm gonna be fine." She was pulled back by Carson and she pulled her into a hug.

Soon Ace was carried out and into the hospital. "C-Carson he's gonna be fine right?" She whispers as she clings onto her. Carson bit her lip but nonetheless said he was going to be fine and that he was tough . But Lia wasn't sure.

When they got to the hospital shortly after , Lia was still shaking as she prayed that Ace would be fine. "It's gonna be fine. He's gonna be fine Lia." Sebastian says as he holds her tightly.

She kept shaking her head and crying more. The doctors said that he didn't get shot in his ribs which were good because he'd probably not make . "I'm gonna get us some food." Carson smiles weakly as she got up and headed downstairs.

Lia untangled herself from Sebastian and she lowered her head down.

She could hardly even believe what she saw. One thing she was afraid of was dead bodies. Even though she was used to them ; she never wanted to see a bloody body again. If Ace were to die , she didn't know how she would be able to react .

Long and boring hours later , a doctor came out and looked a hot mess. Lia instantly went up to him and he sighed at her. "He's okay."

Lia felt her stress going away and she smiled softly. "Can I see him?" She stumbles out as she looks at the doctor with pleading eyes.

"Of course dear. His residents aren't here yet so this would be fine." Lia smiles as she nods her head and follows the doctor through the hallways . Stopping at the door that said A , Forty , the doctor pushed the door with ease and Lia walked in seeing Ace with a tube down his throat.

Lia began to shake more but a hand was placed on her back. "It's okay. This is keeping him alive don't worry." The doctor says calmly and Lia had no other choice but to believe him.

The doctor left shortly and Lia sat on the bed next to him. She bites her lip as she looks at his full body. She grabbed his hand and held it tightly. "A-Ace can you hear me?" She whispers out but sadly there was no response.

"A lot of p-people from school came and wanted to check up on you." She whispers as she looks at his face , softly and gently touches his face.

The door slams open , slightly startling her and she looked behind her seeing an unfamiliar guy . "Who the fuck are you?" He growls out as he comes closer. Lia looked at him with wide eyes.

"M-My names Lia. Are you f-family with Ace?" The boy looked at her for a second before cursing himself . Ace's girl.

Noah smiles at her and nods his head and then he looks down at his friend with much sadness. "Look what he have here kid. I get shot and then you get shot. What are the odds!" Noah says as he sits in the seat across from Lia .

Lia look at him confusingly but she continues to look at Ace. She was sniffing softly and her shaking seemed to ease. "Listen sweetheart. I'm gonna need your help." Noah looked up at her with a smirk and once again , she looked up at him with a confused look.

"Y-Yes?" She whispers and Noah locked the door and came back to his friend.

"We are getting him out. First find me his clothes and I'll take care of this."

Lia looked at him with wide eyes and she shook her head. "We can't do that . The doctor said this would help him." She whispers as he sends her a glare.

"Lia . Go get his clothes now!" Lia shrieked and she ran over to the bathroom where his clothes were awaiting him. She sighed deeply as she turned back around and he was messing with the wires in the back.

"Who are you?" She whispers as she looks at looks at him with wide eyes . He looked like a pro .

"I'm a cousin ." He lied as he smiled at her. He replaced the tube out of his mouth and disconnected all the wires. "Alright we have twenty minutes to get him out and to the house . Let's get to work."

She shook her head as she looked at him and Ace's body. "No we can't! He will die!" She whispers out as she looked at him with pleading eyes.

"Sweetheart I need you to trust me okay? He's gonna be fine." He says as he walks over to her and takes the clothes from him. "I need you to place his shirt on and get me the wheelchair that's in the closet! I'm gonna also need you to change your clothing so , change into this and hat on ." He tossed her a bag and Lia catches it with wide eyes.

Nonetheless she did as he said and quickly changed and came to Ace fully dressed . "Help me get him to the wheelchair! Come on we have ten more minutes until the police will be here." He says to Lia making her look at him strangely .

Police ? Why would the police come here ? She brought the wheelchair to him and Ace was carefully placed in. "Alright sweetheart , put your hat on and glasses and let's get the fuck out of here." He smirked and Lia only looked at him like he was crazy!

They got outside and started to stroll him down. Surprisingly no one was suspicious and they made it outside. It was a big SUV waiting outside and Ace was securely in with no suspiciousness. "I-I'm coming with you." She whispers as she hops in the car and places Ace's head on her shoulder .

Noah simply looked at her with a smirk and nodded his head.

"Hold on tight."
