[We see Black. After we see people in office running for papers. We see them all panic, until we hear the red phone ring. Everyone is silent as GENERAL THOMAS goes to the phone and picks it up]
GENERAL THOMAS: Hello?
[We wait as GENERAL THOMAS's hopes fade]
GENERAL THOMAS: I'll tell them.
[GENERAL THOMAS puts down the phone and then looks at the others]
GENERAL THOMAS: I have bad news.
[He walks to the board with a pin. He puts it on Vickensburg]
GENERAL THOMAS: We lost Vickensburg, as well of it being captured...[Sighs]...to make matters worse...
[GENERAL THOMAS walks to the window with his hands behind his back]
GENERAL THOMAS:...The Legend of Fate has been captured and is being held hostage.
[COLONEL YORK approaches GENERAL THOMAS slowly]
COLONEL YORK: Wh...what do we do now, sir?
GENERAL THOMAS: Call Major General John Gardner. Inform him about the situation...I know his friends won't like this.
[The scene then goes into GARDNER's office]
DIOLOGUE: LOCATION: THE MEPERCHOUIN
TIME: APRIL 11th 2017 10:00:03 (seconds count up)
MISSION: UNKNOWN
SET BY: MAJOR GENERAL JOHN GARDNER
[AMY knocks on the door]
GARDNER: Come in.
[AMY peaks through]
AMY: You asked for me...sir?
GARDNER: Yes come in.
[AMY then walks in and then sits in a chair. GARDNER is about to speak but AMY interrupts]
AMY: Permission to speak freely, sir?
GARDNER: Granted.
AMY: You found, legend? Is he alright?
GARDNER: Yes.
AMY: What about him? Is he ok?
GARDNER: He's MIA. Held hostage by the enemy. I wish I could say this under better circumstances but we can't get him...at the moment.
AMY: What? No! The task force can start a hostage rescue!
GARDNER: It is not your decision Colonel! As leader of the General of Divisions I agreed to others that we will use the rest of our resources to defend Stallenton! Including the Task Force!
AMY: That is it? It's over?
GARDNER: Afraid so, Amy.
AMY: Afraid so? You know, my master said that me and him are a TEAM! Not another guy that I don't even know to...
GARDNER: COLONEL AMY CALLOWAY!!!
[Silence]
GARDNER: I CAN'T!!! HE IS JUST...A KID!!! HE WASN'T EVEN SUPPOSE TO SAVE THE WORLD!!! HE WAS MEANT TO DESTROY IT!!!
[Silence. AMY is frustrated and depressed]
AMY: Fine, sir!
[AMY storms out the room. GARDNER sighs. He will then go to his desk and pick up the red phone. He will then talk into the phone]
GARDNER: Meeting...at 1:30 today...sharp.
[Scene then changes to a meeting desk]
GENERAL THOMAS (V.O): Yes, got it.
