"Hey, Cap, we got a situation here," Sam says through the comms. I walk over by the window where Spencer is and look up.

"What is it Sam?" I ask. All of a sudden I see a huge ship-like thing crash into the Wakandian dome. "Oh, that!"

"God, I love this place," Bucky's voice comes through the comms.

"Yeah, don't start celebrating yet, guys. We got more incoming outside the dome!" Rhodey yells.

I look and see more ships crashing outside of the dome. The shock waves and debris from the ship landings destroy acres of forest and boil up against the dome. I look behind me at Steve, then T'Challa, then Spencer. He takes my hand and squeezes it for reassurance that we're gonna be okay, and I relax a bit.

"We'll be fine, Y/n," Spencer whispers.

"It's too late," I turn to see Vision start to get off the table, "We need to destroy the stone now."

Nat rushes towards Vision, "Vision, get your ass back on the table."

"We will hold them off," T'Challa says as he and his Kingsguard walk towards the door.

Steve looks at Wanda, "Wanda, as soon as the stone's out of his head... you blow it to hell."

"I will," Wanda confirms.

"Evacuate the city. Engage all defense procedures," T'Challa looks to me, then Steve, "And get this man a shield, and this woman an axe."

I smile.

LATER

I fiddle with the sleeves of my leather jacket as we ride towards the edge of the dome, awaiting battle. I look at the vibranium axe in front of me, given to me by Shuri. She said it's been waiting for me. It was made for me since she read my file a few years back. How I'm amazing with axes. I started using axes when I was about 15, which was about 11 years ago. I used one in the battle of New York, Sokovia, and Lagos, before Wanda... blew up the building. I met Spencer in 2011, when the found Steve in the ice. Us both being level 7 SHIELD agents, we both got a viewing of them thawing Steve out. After that, we were both assigned on many missions together. I did end up developing a crush on the blue-eyed SHIELD agent, I mean, who couldn't. I talked to Nat about it back during Ultron and she described our relationship as a Tony and Pepper, except not dating.

During the battle of Ultron, in case we didn't make it, I admitted what I felt to him, and he felt the same way. After we made it out alive, well, not all of us, sadly Pietro Maximoff didn't make it, Spencer took me on many dates. Eventually the Sokovia accords divided the Avengers up. I didn't agree with them, and neither did Spencer. We sided with Steve, and eventually had to go into hiding. For two years, we had to go on secret mission with Steve, Nat and Sam. Steve eventually got a call from Bruce Banner, telling us the situation. So, we rescued Wanda and Vision and came to Wakanda.

"How we looking, Bruce?" Nat asks, referring to the Hulk Buster that Bruce was using, other than the Hulk himself, because he couldn't Hulk out.

"Yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of it," The Hulk Buster flies over us and I here Bruce cheer through the comms, "Wow! It's like being the Hulk without actually-" He trips over a rock. I look to my right to see Okoye give Bruce a weird look. Bruce stands back up, "I'm okay. I'm okay."
