Song for Isabelle *A Luka Couffaine Love story*

Chapter 01

No amount of music could drown out the screams of the perisian citizens as they ran for their lives away from Hawkmoth's newest akumatized victim.

The large figure leapt through the night sky creating havoc along its path.

Typical, the day I decide to leave my house, I get caught up in the middle of an akuma attack. Akumas keep getting more and more dangerous with each new one that appears. "I'm Terraria, you will all suffer for the harm you've caused the environment" The figure plummeted to the ground sending massive shock waves causing buildings near the impact to collapse and shatter into pieces.

"H-help" a weak voice cried out between the rubble. My legs carried me to where the building low lay to rest, without any control of my body I rummaged through the blocks trying to find the source of the voice."I'll get you out" I yelled , my hands now bloodied with shards of glass. As I reached the last stone I saw bright brown eyes, "manon " I say as she lounges into my arms,"isa" she cries. Her small frame shook as I held her.

"Manon was there anyone else there with you?" I asked whilst trying to calm her down. She shakes her ash covered face and continues to cry on my shoulder.''its okay ,i'll get us out of here" I start running towards Notre Dame to seek shelter. "You will all drown" Terraria said as she bent water to her will. Crystal clear waves engulfed the Eiffel tower. A thousand things running through my mind, and to think i was worried about my final project due thursday.

Norte Dame coming into view hope had returned, i can do this i just need to get manon there. Manon let out an ear-screeching scream as she looked up to see how much closer the wave seemed to be. My balance was lost, I fell to the ground trying my best to protect manon. "Manon are you okay" worry taking over my features."i'm fine" she said crawling towards me. As I try to get up and continue running, something pulls me back down. My foot has become trapped between some stones.

That's when i realize if i want to protect manon i can't let her stay with me. "Manon, take this" I said as i gave her my pick locket necklace Luka had gifted me on my 15th birthdate."Listen very carefully i need you to run as fast as you can to Notre Dame, once your there go to the very top and wait until ladybug & chat noir defeat Terraria.""what about you?"she asked, her brown eyes tearing up."i'll be okay, ladybug & chat noir will save the day" i hugged her one last time and watched as she disappeared from my view.

"Fuck" i mumble as i try and release my foot from the rubble. My hands start to shake as the realization that i might not get out of this alive dawns on me. I know ladybug will save the day. I can't lose hope on Paris' beloved superheroes. My hands burned as I tried to grab the stone to liberate my foot.

"Isa '' i frantically search for the owner of the voice, Then i spot him, blue eyes, calming voice & loving all around. "L-luka"I choke out. He gets on his knees and starts trying to remove the rubble from on top of me. I see the water inching closer, panic invades my body. "Luka, it's no use you have to go.''I say, trying to push him away. "Isabelle! I'm not leaving you" he said as he tried to remove the last big stone trapping my foot.

" i'm going to pick it up and you're going to have to pull your foot out okay?" his voice dripping in an unknown emotion that is un-like luka. He lifts up the stone and I remove my foot from the rubble. Blood now covering my white converse, I try to stand up but my foot gives out on me. We will never make it.''It's okay isa i'm here" he says, lifting me up in a bridal style. As he holds me closer, his heartbeat matching mine, I look up and see a look of pure hope. In this moment I realized that I am utterly and completely in love with Luka Couffanie.

As we enter the doors of Notre Dame, ladybugs engulf the city. Buildings return back to normal, the once flooded streets of paris return to their perfect state. I look out to the starry sky and thank ladybug & chat noir for restoring the peace.
