Chapter 06

It had been three weeks since the sleepover at my place and things were going good. Currently I was making my way to Paris Descartes University. I had been missing a few classes lately due to my new job as an intern for Bob Roth, but I was determined to make it today!. I took a sip of my coffee as I walked through the beautiful streets of Paris. It's truly amazing how beautiful my city is, always so bright and cheery. I smiled at myself as I passed the park and saw Mr.Ramier sitting on a bench feeding the pigeons. I waved at him as i passed "Bonjour Mr.Ramier, how are you and your pigeons doing this morning?'' I ask, smiling at him.''Isabelle! We're doing fantastic! Aren't we my little darlings'' he said looking down at the pigeons feeding them more bread crumbs, a smile crossing my face.

I looked down at my cat noir watch and saw it was nearly 10:00. I gotta hurry if I want to make it in time. "I gotta run, Mr.Ramier, it was lovely seeing you" I say walking away.''Have a great day Isabelle '' he said waving at me.. If I hurry I can make it in time.

"You've caused enough harm desperada" I turn to see ladybug and cat noir along with a new superhero battling an akumatized victim. Oh no i'll never make it in time now. Maybe i can go around them . I check the time once again. 9:38am. Fuck, i cant afford to miss anymore classes. I start to head towards the bushes, if I sneak away through here they won't notice me and then I'll be able to take the subway to uni, making it with 5 minutes to spare. Piece of cake.

But I couldn't be farther from the truth. Somehow I had been captured by Desperada, She tried to use me as a hostage to make Ladybug and Cat Noir give up their miraculous. Desperada had tied me to the top of the eiffel tower and began fighting against The superheros.

I try to keep myself from looking down, but failing miserably. Wow its fucking high.

"Let her go Desperada" I hear ladybug say as she and the new superhero engage in combat with this bitch. "As you wish" Desperada said, releasing the ropes that held me up. As I started to fall, a scream escaped my lips, my stomach dropping along with my heart. A thousand things ran through my mind. I see ladybug jump off the top of the eiffel tower, trying to reach after me with her yoyo. She will never reach me in time, i close my eyes and brace for impact."Second chance"  

*LUKAS POV*

"You've caused enough harm desperada" I turn to Desperada who lunged towards us. Cat noir blocked the first two hits giving ladybug an opening to attack from behind. Desperada falls to the ground and drops her weapon. Ladybug begins to make her way to the akumatized item when the akuma pulls out her second blaster. Desperada grabs it and aims it at LB when Cat Noir jumps in front of her to protect her. I start to look around for any possible advantages. Out of the corner of my eye I see a figure sneaking through the bushes. A civilian, I better go before they get caught in the middle of the attack. But, before I could move, Desperada captured the girl. As I moved closer to try and get a better look I realized that the civilian was Isabelle.

I felt my heart sink, not her. I try to run at Desperada but she started to climb the eiffel tower, tying Isabelle to the top.

"Let her go Desperada" Ladybug yells as Desperada reaches the ground level. I lunge forward to attack but she dodges all of my moves. "As you wish" she said snapping her fingers making the ropes disappear. I hear Isabelle's blood curdling scream as she falls from the top of the eiffel tower. Ladybug jumps after her trying to catch her but she's not quick enough. "Second chance" I say resetting my miraculous.

Isabelle will be hiding in those bushes, I have to keep the fight away from her.I started leading them away from her."You've caused enough harm desperada" I turned to Desperada who lunged towards us. Cat noir blocked the first two hits giving ladybug an opening to attack from behind. Desperada falls to the ground and drops her weapon. "Ladybug watch out she has a second one" i say lunging towards desperada and pinning her arm to the ground. "It's time to de-evilize" ladybug said as she purified the akuma i made my way towards the bushes and crouched down to isabelle's level."don't you know it's dangerous to hang around akumas" i say offering her a hand."don't you know its rude to sneak up on people" she said taking my hand and standing up, she begins to dust herself off before looking at her watch.

"Fuck, im going to be late" she said running her hand through her hair. Her nose scrunched up and her eyes leaked of worry. "I can give you a lift, where are you headed?" I asked, trying my best to pretend that I didn't know. Obviously she was going to uni, it's tuesday so she's got a lesson at 10:00. "I wouldn't want to be a bother" she said picking the skin on her pointer finger. I chuckled at her nervous habit. Cute.

"its not a bother at all" i say taking her hand and pulling her close to me. The sweet scent of vanilla filling up nose. She smiled back at me and took one last look at her watch."fine, but only this once" she said "to Paris Descartes University please" she said as i picked her up in a bridal style."just close your eyes and well be there in a bit' i said, as i carried her through the roofs of paris.

As we reached our destination I saw Isabelle gance down at her watch and let out a breath,"Made it with 7 minutes to spare" she said as she raised her hand. I smile at her and shake my head giving her a high five."sooo you're paris new superhero?" she asked, running her fingers through her long black hair."yeah, sorry i haven't really introduced myself. My name's Viperion ''I said reaching out for her hand. "Isabelle" she said with a slight smile over taking her features."lovely to meet you, Isabelle" i said planting a light kiss on her hand. Why did I do that? She let out a small giggle and pulled her hand away. So enchanting.

She looked around for a second before glancing down at her watch again, her eyes widening as she took in the time. "Shit, I umm have to go.. It was nice meeting you" she said, giving me a small wave before heading towards her class.

I hear my miraculous start to beep and I take that as my que to leave. I looked around to make sure no one was following me before jumping into an alley and transforming. "You know you're not ss-supposed to us-se the miraculous-s for pers-sonal joyrides-s" sass said as he landed in my hands. "Sorry, sass" I said reaching into my backpack and giving an egg for him to recharge.

I still have about forty minutes before my first class, how about I go visit Mama-marinette.

I reach out for my phone and dial her number. One ring...two rings..three rings.."Hey you've reached marinette leave a message" that's weird, she's probably busy. I hung up the phone and started to walk towards campus. As I walk by the corridors I see a flustered Maddie and Evan in a corner giggling at something. "Hey guys" I said walking over to them."sup dude" Evan said as we exchanged a  handshake, maddie gave me a small wave and a smile. "Have you guys checked the ladyblog? There, a new official superhero, debuted today" Maddie said pointing the phone towards us. "wicked ,snake themed. What's his name?" Evan said, taking her phone and taking a closer look.

"Viperion '' turned around to see the owner of the voice was none other than isabelle. Her smile shone bright and a slight blush creeped on her face. Someones got a soft spot for a certain snake superhero. "Viperion? Sounds like an awesome name if you ask me ''I said leaning against the wall and crossing my arms. "Yeah he's quite dreamy all right. Isabelle said, holding her hand against her chest smiling. "Oh my god! Does little isa have a crush!" Maddie said practically jumping on her.''I'm just saying he seems like a nice guy" she said smiling at maddie."Wait, bells why are you talking as if you met him" Evan asked, i watched as Isabelle picked the skin of her pointer finger and started to talk. "Well...he might have given me a bit of lift...to school today."

Maddie pounced on the poor girl, a million questions leaving her mouth. "How did you even meet him?" Maddie asked her holding her hand."He might have saved my life" Isabelle looked down picking the skin of her pointer finger. She's not supposed to remember that, second chance erases everyone's memory.

"What do you mean he saved you? I asked leaning towards her, her face turning red.

"Uh...shouldn't you be heading to class?"she deflected the question by looking at her watch. I checked my phone and saw it was already 10:38. Looks like viperion is going to have to pay isabelle a visit.
