I slowly creep through the shadows of the night. I try not to let my heels click against the ground. The littlest of noise they can hear.
"Move and I will shoot!" someone yells in a whisper.
I turn letting my brown hair smack me in the face. I grab the gun from my waist belt and aim at the way the voice came. Slowly I back up not making a sound.
"You know they have a word for you rebels right now," I freeze and listen closely for the voice to go on. "Let's see what is it called again? Oh that's right, the Hangive. The one's that don't want a government. We are supposed to kill you all on the spot," the voice is getting closer.
I try not to let my fear show. I turn and run as the shots are fired. One barley misses my arm. I duck behind a dumpster and pull my bag off my shoulder. I keep everything I will ever need in it. I grab the knife and key. I jump up and throw the bag on and run as fast as I can.
The school is where all the rebels meet to plan. I run not caring if I make noise or not. Three people are trusted with keys to the school and I'm one of them. I was trusted with one because I'm so sneaky you never see me coming.
I stick the key in the door and wait for the click and then pull it open. I flip on the lights and walk to the schools gym.
As soon as you walk into the school there is really tall trophy shelves on both sides. There are three ways it parts, on the left side it leads to a cafeteria where you can see in and out. We never use it because of that. On the right is the gym. We mainly are in the gym because there's no windows. In middle is steps that lead up to a huge office. Part of the office is for me. It's blocked off from the rest of the office. If you go down the hallway where the gym is classrooms are in the back of the hall. Also lets get this straight I am not the president. My dad is.
I walk to the gym to see almost all 100 of us already here. They're are so sneaky.
"Beth? You ready?"
