Chapter 5

Draco's POV
I was faintly listening to McGonagall drone out all the couples that were to be wed, only really paying attention to find out who I would have to take as the Malfoy bride. Blaise and I snickered when we heard Mudblood Granger being paired off to a different Weasley, almost the whole of Hogwarts knew that she and the weasel had a thing. The thought disgusts me, who would have a thing with those animals, they breed like pigs.
As I was thinking that it felt wrong somehow. Which was odd. I glanced back over to the Gryffindors table to see Granger balling her eyes out, pathetic. Potter looked as if he was about to explode, but when I looked to his right I saw a pale Weaslette crashing to the floor.
"Blimey what's got her knickers in a twist" I asked Blaise and gestures over to her.
"Did you not hear who she got partnered with"
"Blaise why on earth would I be paying attention to who she ended up with" I scolded
"Ok, well" he sighed "you better see if your fiancées ok" he smirked finishing that sentence
"What do you mean"I was utterly confused and starting to grow impatient
"Well I think I just saw her pass out over on the Gryffindors table"
"You cannot be serious" I seethed, realisation crashing over me like a boulder
I bolted up, storming to the head of the hall where all the teachers sat and stopped right in front of McGonagall
I slammed both my clenched fists onto the wooden table gaining her attention from her, now abruptly ended, conversation with Flitwick.
"This IS a LIE and can no way POSSIBLE be truth" I barked out
She gave me an intense glare that I was forced to recoil at.
"Excuse me mister Malfoy" she whispered harshly, her Scottish accent kicking in
"But for you to know, I went to the ministry and took time out of rebuilding Hogwarts and securing our school again, to personally make sure that this pairing in particular was 100% correct and not a mistake, but for your knowledge Mr Malfoy, you both got the highest-compatibility  in the whole school with a shocking score of 98% so I suggest that you go and attend to miss Weasley and have no more of this nonsense! Do you understand Malfoy!" He voice raising to howler level now, and drawing attention to us from students sitting near.
"Yes Ms McGonagall" I spat and I swiftly stormed out off the hall with my head held high. (Because not even this would tarnish the great Malfoy name) with students eyes following my shrinking figure , I headed to the hospital wing to ,not by my choice of course, see my bride to be.
I tried to reason with myself on the way to the hospital wing so I would not have Weasel getting to me when I got there.
So far it was no use.
At least she wasn't unfortunate looking, it is of upmost importance to have the Malfoy bride to carry with her, grace and pride no matter what. So we would have to fix her posture, not that I notice her posture or anything! But, she I rather hard not to stare at when almost every other boy is too.She does have nice hair, I noted. And isn't a bumbling idiotic mess, I've heard from Snape she does well in potions and it is hard to get even that out of Snape so she must be good. And she has a mind of her own, that bad bogey hex I remember from two years ago was fierce, she was a force to be reckoned with. But I don't mind that in a women, in fact that's why I got rid of Pansy she was so clingy and agreed with everything  I said, like a bimbo.
Huh, maybe this wasn't be so bad, I mean she would like me, I mean who couldn't. I practically had girls throwing themselves at me, I smirk. But not her. I frown again.

I can make this interesting,
I will make Ginevra (don't know if she has a middle name) Weasley fall hopelessly in love with me but the end of this term ( two months) god wouldn't that piss off her brothers,

This will be good.
I enter the hospital wing ...
