V: We're going to the gym together today. No excuses

S: fine :(

V: be ready, ill be there in fifteen

S: see you

"Ughhh..." Samuel groaned loudly.

"What are you groaning about?" Mick shouted at him.

"Virgo's bringing me to the gym." Samuel replied.

"Oooh can I go and crash your date?" Mick poked his head into Samuel's room.

"I'll ask Virgo."

S: Mick wants to come with us

V: sure, tell him to get ready ill be there soon

S: ok

"Get ready, Virgo should be arriving soon." Samuel grumbled, getting up from his comfortable bed.

"Hell yeah." Mick smirked, looking surprisingly happy to go to the gym.

Samuel's reaction was the completely opposite. He hated exercise and especially going to the gym. Samuel rummaged through his closet and pulled over a t-shirt and shorts.

"Remember to bring a towel for wiping sweat, I have a feeling that you might need it." Mick advised.

--

"I did need it." Samuel panted, wiping his dripping face.

Mick raised his eyebrows. "I've seen Virgo at the gym here, she does some intense workouts."

"Samuel stop slacking and continue with your cardio!" Virgo hissed at Samuel from the punching bag next to his. "This is just my light workout."

Samuel had only been doing the exercises for several minutes and he was absolutely exhausted. Mick had decided to join them and looked like he was doing fine. Virgo had brought Samuel to the punching bag, which Samuel had always thought was super intimidating.

"It hurts." Samuel complained. "Everywhere."

"You'll get used to the exercise soon enough. You just haven't gone to the gym in a long time." Virgo rolled her eyes.

"I half-agree. This is pretty intense for Samuel, can we tone it down a bit." Mick suggested, breathing heavily.

"Fine." Virgo grumbled, lowering the intensity on the workout and letting Samuel catch his breath. "Take a break."

"What kind of workout is this?" Samuel groaned.

"It's called exercise Samuel, I believe you've never done it before." Mick
teased.

Samuel raised his arm to whack Mick on the arm but grimaced as he raised his aching arm only managing a weak tap on Mick's shoulder.

"Virgo I think we can let Samuel stop for today." Mick chuckled.

"Cool down before hitting the showers." Virgo informed Samuel.

Samuel nodded weakly.

--

"Ok, I'm going to start prepping ingredients to cook." Mick explained as he unlocked the door.

"I'm going to just lie down on my bed for a while." Samuel sighed.

"I'll help." Virgo volunteered.

"Thanks." Mick replied, opening the fridge and grabbing ingredients.

Samuel entered his room, looking exhausted.

When his room door closed, Mick leaned over Virgo. "Psst."

"What?" Virgo asked, grabbing a knife and chopping vegetables.

"You seem a little dicey today, you didn't really talk to Samuel today. Are you on your period or something?" Mick questioned.

"It's just... there's something on my mind." Virgo began, letting out a breath as she chopped onions. "Let's just say that I have a secret that could really tip the relationship with Samuel and I."

"I know how that feels. My parents cut ties with me for coming out." Mick casually said.

"Wait you're..." Virgo trailed off.

"Gay." Mick finished. "But I think that you should think how this 'secret' is going to affect the relationship and whether it is preventing your relationship from getting better. However, you also have to consider how Samuel will react to this information and if he still will love you regardless."

"Mhm." Virgo replied, sniffling slightly.

Mick turned around, alarmed. "Are you crying?"

"It's just the onions." Virgo gave Mick a strained smile. "And also probably because I'm on my period."

--

"Samuel?" Virgo knocked gently on the room door.

"Come in." Samuel called out tiredly.

Virgo walked in and looked at Samuel sprawled on the bed. She gingerly plopped herself down next to him, tousling his slightly wet hair affectionately. Samuel opened his eyes and sat up, looking at Virgo.

"Were you crying?" Samuel's eyebrows wrinkled in concern as he looked at Virgo's red eyes.

"I was... cutting onions." Virgo half-lied.

Samuel swiped off a tear off her cheek with his thumb. "You can always tell me if something is bothering you."

"I don't think you're ready." Virgo explained. "You might end up breaking up with me because of this and-"

"Don't worry about it." Samuel rubbed her face gently with one hand and pulled her towards him with the other. "Why would I ever break up with you? I love you."

Samuel turned his head slightly and pushed his lips gently against hers. Virgo closed her eyes and leaned into the kiss as Samuel shifted his hand from her waist to her jaw. Virgo's hand went to his hair, tousling and playing with his hair. At that moment, Virgo had never felt more secure about their relation than that moment.

"The food is ready, you two lovebirds." Mick shouted from outside.

The two pulled apart, both of them breathless as they stared into each other's eyes.

"Left you more breathless than your workout. Hah." Samuel giggled.

"You're so annoying." Virgo rolled her eyes but she could not wipe her ecstatic smile off her face.

--

"Bye Virgo." Samuel murmured, planting a quick kiss on her lips. "Drive safe."

"Good night... babe." Virgo smirked before rushing off.

"Oh my gosh. Stop calling me that!" Samuel groaned before closing the door.
