XXVI. Reunion

"Heart!"

Yung kabog ng puso ni Lime rinig mula Monumento hanggang Baclaran, akala nya kasi si Paulo na tumawag sa kanya.

"Huy Lloyd sira ulo kala ko si Paulo na..tingnan mo si Lime gulat na gulat o" si Claire

"Hi Lime! grabe tumangkad ka pala konti edi who you na ko?"

"Hi! Who you?" Ngumiti lang si Lloyd sa kanya at nag beso. Umupo ito sa tabi ni Claire.

"Teacher Claire umusog ka naman grabe wala ng space"

"Huy Lloyd may space yan di ka lang talaga kasya"

Pumwesto silang tatlo sa couch sa isang videoke room.

"Bat nagsitabaan tayong dalawa Claire, buti pa si Lime maliit pa rin"

"Flex mo lang na maliit ako Lloyd?"

"Hehe hindi flex ko lang na cute ka, baka magalit sa kin si Paulo e"

"Ay speaking of Paulo asan ba sya?" si Claire.

"Coming daw e"

" Lloyd umorder na kami ni Lime ha, sabi mo sagot mo to lahat" si Claire habang ngumunguya ng french fries.

"Uu ba, basta para sa PauLime"

"Po.. ano?" tanong ni Lime

Si Claire ang sumagot "Edi Paulo at Lime, PauLime shipper kami ni Lloyd"

Nakailang kanta na rin sila nang isalang ni Claire ang di nya makakalimutang kanta.

"Lime mamaya kantahin nyo to ni Paulo ah, namimiss ko na duet nyong dalawa."

"Hala uu nga Claire, di ba yan yung kinanta nila nung high school day sa stage?"

"Uu kilig na kilig ako nun grabe"

As if on cue, dumating nga si Paulo. "Guys" he casually greeted them. Agad rin itong umupo sa tabi ni Lime habang nagkangitian lang sina Claire at Lloyd.

Di naman maiwasan ni Lime ang matulala. Paulo in an all black outfit, face clean shaven, and hair in loose fringes is her weakness.

"Lime! huy!" tawag ni Claire sa kanya habang tinatapik sya.

"Ha?"

"Hatdog" si Paulo ang sumagot. "Duet na daw tayo"

"S-sige" Napahawak na lang sya ng mahigpit sa microphone.

Paulo cleared his throat and starts singing.

Lime could feel her lungs barely breathing. She's melting under his gaze, and the sound of his distinct voice just brought a lot of feelings and memories she thought were already forgotten. She took a deep breath so she could sing with him in the chorus.

Just before she breaks down, Lime walked out of the door.
