Bruce had come back to the compound. He worked with Scott to figure out the time travel aspect of travelling through the quantum realm. Steve and Nat were assisting them but Kal stayed at the back of the hanger watching from a far. Each time Scott went through the tunnel he came out a different age and in the end he never made it anywhere else. Kal could see that Steve was frustrated that this wasn't working before he went outside for a breather. She decided to go for a run and a long one, she needed to clear her head and let out her pent up anxiety.

When Kal returned back to the compound she saw Tony's car out front. She found the group sitting in the conference room. Tony was explaining something he had on his wrist as she walked in.

"Mick! Glad you could join us" Tony smirked holding up his hand "I've got the way, you got the will?"

The team was regrouping. Nebula and Rocket returned from space and Rhodey from Mexico. A communication was sent to Carol but depending on where she was it would take a while to reach her. Kal joined Nat on her mission to locate Clint and bring him in. He had been hunting violent gangs and mobs around the world slaughtering them as some sort of retribution for the innocent. Rhodey's intel led him to believe that Clint was stalking a syndicate in Tokyo which is precisely where the women were headed.

Nat had told Kal a lot about Clint. He was a family man and a SHIELD agent who turned Natasha instead of assassinating her like he had be order to. They had become partners and best friends. The man had been broken when his entire young family had been taken in the snap. Kal could see how much her friend cared for him, grieving the loss of his family and much his current need for vengeance pained her.

"I should have come after him sooner" Nat lamented. "What he has become now is my fault"

"Nat you know that is not true. Clint is a grown man and is choices are his own." Kal tried to comfort her friend "We have all been so lost. The entire galaxy has been and none of us have known how to manage that"

"This is not him"

"Nat he is still in there, he's just shrouded in grief"

Nat landed the jet on top of a building near the club that was syndicate's base of operation. Kal suited up in the back of the jet. Nat chose to remain in her street clothes wanting to approach Clint as herself not as the Black Widow. Kal checked her gun before holstering it on her thigh.

"Why do you even carry a gun, I've never seen you use it?" Nat arched an eyebrow at Kal.

"I dunno. I think it looks cool, don't you?" She joked looking down at her hip admiring herself.

Nat rolled her eyes, but couldn't hold back a smirk. The two women disembarked the camouflaged jet together. Kal snuck into the club keeping to the shadows to appraise the gang's activities waiting for Clint. Nat sat in a restaurant across the street watching for any sign of him outside.

Kal waited silently as several men sat around a large sunken sofa drinking with money, guns and drugs strewn all over the table in the middle of it when a group of armed men dragged in a family of five into the lounge at gun point. The family consisted of an older father and mother, a adolescent daughter and two pre-teen boys, the family was disheveled and impoverished. They were terrified, crying and clutching each other tightly. A man dressed in white who appeared to be the leader snatched one of the boys away from his parents and held a gun to his head, the mother wailed.

"Shit, Nat have you seen him yet?"

"No, what's going on?"

"They have captives, a family with kids at gunpoint. I have to engage "
