Harry's POV

Harry thought his mind was playing tricks on him when he saw Draco's expression as he ate. The other boy was breathing heavily and was blushing slightly, however, after a moment it was gone. The day had finally begun to take his toll on Harry and his eyes started to feel heavy, draco seemed to have noticed his tiredness and guided him through the halls of the manour into a guest bedroom. Draco smiled at him, said goodnight and walked away.

Once Draco left Harry's thoughts began to swim. His mind presented the image of Draco's face during dinner and his chest soared. Suddenly he had a thought back to a Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson.

"Felywyn are a very mysterious race, while they are similar to Fae and Veela they have some odd differences. Like other creatures they will have a mate who will be either dominant or submissive, gender doesn't matter, but unlike the others their mate will also gain attributes in order to help their mate if the other is dominant or protect them if the other is submissive. These changes can vary to large wings, sharpened teeth, advanced senses and regeneration.' The professor droned on even though most of the class was asleep, the exception being Hermione who was paying rapt attention and Harry who was mildly interested."

'When a Felywyn meets their destined partner they will soon be able to tell it is them due to a longing for the other and a feeling of intense emotions. Their way of bonding is different than others as well, while some races need to take their mate to bed, a Felywyn only needs a tranference between their mates and their own blood. This is equivalent to a wedding ceremony, literally giving meaning to the phrase 'till death do us part' if either of the partners refuse the other, the necessities for a living body to function will slowly stop one by one and they will eventually die."

"There is no specific way to identify a Felywyn, however, it is suggested that they tend to wear large clothing to hide their wings, wear charms to hide the marks of their kind which usually appear to be silver tattoo's. Submissives tend to lose several inches of their height in order for their mate to protect/hide them easier and they tend to have more feminine bodies in order to produce new generations. However, the dominants tend to be larger in size, while they act rough towards others they tend to be overly gentle in the prescence of their mate. Once again I say, these creatures are truly a mystery. "

Harry gasped as he remembered the lesson and mind almost collapsed. He was a Submissive Felywyn... and Draco was his mate. Harry began to take deep breaths in order to calm himself, however, it only made it worse as he started to hyperventilate. His wings were ruffled and he attempted to support himself against a wall but before he could take a step his legs buckled, he fell to the floor and succumbed to unconscious.

Normal POV

A loud bang was heard through out the mansion and Draco looked up from his book and started towards the noise.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I don't really have an excuse, however, due to certain circumstances I think it will be easier to update this every two or so weeks. I mean, it's just so hard to think of things around this time of year when everything is hectic and things are constantly popping up. But thank you to all those who read this story for waiting so patiently!
