The start of each day becomes a gatherer of crowd. People are being teached how to plow and make used of their horses in taming the land. The more my men instruct and teach the people, the more they feel accepted and respected as well. Children came to me and even ask how is my hair different from theirs. Which I just explained by using henna. I even used it to one of the old lady healer of the village which she boast most of the time. Saying she used such wizardry and strike a wink at me.
While Paktu and the rest of the folks are busy casting seeds, I went for a stroll. Finally, a lone time for myself. A break from being an ambassadress. It's not easy being one. A task I myself is surprised to find it enjoyable. Then I walk with both my hands stroking each plant and grass that I could reach. Since I left home, I feel at peace. I almost run out of breath when I saw a clear river. It is like home, I sighed. Like a child excited to go for a swim, I hurriedly removed my slippers and soak my feet into the water. And I decided to lay in the grass with my feet still feeling the serenity of it. I was feeling sleepy when suddenly heard footseps. I just remained calm and try to think what weapon can I use to protect myself. I slowly reached for my hair clip. It was the only weapon I could use. Then I roll as quickly as I can and tried to get up to face whomever has disturb my moment of peace.
"Whoa! I mean no harm, princess.
Then to my relief it was him. The brow eyed man with a muscular built with an echoing voice.
" My Lord, Im sorry. I thought it was something else"
"It seems that you found my favorite spot. Eomer said.
"Oh, do you always come here? He replied with a nod and picked up a stone and threw it in the water." Eowyn and I always come here but when our parents died, we almost forgot about this place"
Im so sorry to hear that. I feel sad hearing Eomer's lost.
My lord, do you know about us? About our existence? Eomer looks puzzled at my question. "My father once told us about the tale of a certain dragon family of the south but I never knew I would met one."Eomer replied."Would you like to know more about us? I asked him hoping it would set the mood up for him.
He looks at me and replied," It seems that you have a lot of surprises in your kingdom, my lady"
I stopped for a moment and think of something more appropriate response for the man's reply. I looked to the water hoping some answers will float up or a fish will just jump and yell stop! For all I care. What would I say?Eomer's POV
I have more things to do but yet something inside of me wants to stay. As this lady beside me, she's pretty. Her beauty is something I've never encountered before. It feels like staring at an odd, a very beautiful odd elf in human form. The way the wind blew her hair looks like it's playing, teasing any men that catch a glimpse upon her. I can't believe such a dragon could be this beautiful and enticing.
Inside my head, "Enough already, hold your ground"Back to the scene:
Would you like me to tell you what little knowledge we knew of your place then we can just go from there? Eomer volunteered.
I gave him a smile which also surprise me because I was smiling the whole tine. I just uttered, "That would be lovely."
