Addison's P.O.V

As Bucky led us to a hiding spot behind a store, he finally thought of something to break the silence.

"Okay, cuz. I'm going to ignore the fact you were just talking to a zombie and almost died." Bucky stated

"Bucky, it's not a big deal to talk to- wait did you just say ignore?" I questioned

"Instead, I'm going to have you focus on more important things, protecting me."

I cringed at the thought of me killing a zombie, especially after just meeting one.

"Look, Bucky. Can we just hold off on kill-" I started

"Oh look a zombie is coming our way, perfect example!" Bucky interrupted "Lacey, Stacey, stay with Addison and make sure she doesn't run off. Tracey, come with me."

"Right!" Lacey said

"Mhm." Stacey said as she nodded

I crossed my arms im anger. I really didn't want to kill a zombie... I looked to the side of me and there was a girl across the road.

Glasses and wearing a pastel pink outfit, the girl was walking to a supply store-alone. There were zombies walking to it on the other side and didn't look like she had any weapons with her. I began to walk to her before I felt two pairs of hands on both my arms.

"Um, where are you going this time?" Stacey asked

"I-um..." I stuttered

"Look, Bucky said for you to stay put." Lacey added "Is it so hard to listen to simple directions."

"There's a girl over there, she needs our help!" I exclaimed

"Does she ever stop yelling." Stacey complained

"Doesn't seem like it." Lacey answered

I clenched my fist and responded to their comments.

"I'm going to go help her no matter what you or Bucky says." I said before I pulled myself from their grip

I ran as fast as I could away from them-not learning at all from what happened the last time I ran away. Though, I made it just in time. A zombie was behind the girl preparing to attack. I threw my pom pom knife at its chest and it fell down. I shuddered once the knife sunk in it's chest, thinking if it was dead or not.

"T-Thank you!" The girl said "I didn't have any weapons on me and I wasn't even thinking that I could've died without it!"

"I-uh no problem.." I said sadly, looking down at the body

"Are you okay?" The stranger asked

"Well... it's my first day out and I was hoping I didn't have to kill any zombie." I said

"Wow! It's my first day out too!" The girl stated "It's gonna be hard to survive through all this but if we work together then there's no way they'll beat us!"

The girl was so full of cheer and light, how could I not smile?

"I guess your right...!" I said, cheering up. "I'm Addison!"

"I'm Bree!" Bree exclaimed

I handed her one of my pom poms and waved good-bye. I grabbed my knife from the zombie's chest and it flinched.

"Hm?" I said quietly

The zombie stood up and tried attacking me. I screamed and kicked it in the gut. Figuring that wouldn't hold it off for long I grabbed Bree's arm and ran back to Lacey and Stacey.

"Oh hey, your not dead yet!" Lacey exclaimed

Lucky for me Bucky just returned with Tracey-both covered in blood stains.

"And that's how you kill a zombie." Bucky said as he brushed from blood from his shoulder

Bucky looked over to Bree, confused.

"Who's four eyes here?" Bucky asked

"This is Bree, she'll be joining us." I said

"Okay then.." Bucky said without questioning me at all

"Now, since you don't want to kill a zombie I thought of a way out of that." Bucky added

"Your." Lacey said

"Going." Stacey added

"To~!" Tracey finished

"Burn down a zombie house!" The Acey's and Bucky said together

"WHAT!?" I exclaimed
