Chapter 11

I was laying in the hospital bed as the doctor examined me and the baby to make sure that I was free to leave . It still feels foreign saying the baby , but I gotta suck it up and deal with it . I had to tell Kash , but I didn't know how and hell he was partly still staying with my mom . I didn't know how I was going to tell my dad or even how I was going to tell anyone .

" We'll be sending you home with these vitamins and we still want you to get plenty of rest " He said and I nodded and he left the room . I pulled out my phone that was brought to me , I don't know how they got it or who brought it but I'm thankful . I texted Tyson back because he had been blowing me up since I haven't been in school in a couple weeks . I told him some of what happened but not everything and he told me that he did some of work for me and I thanked him .
I placed my phone on the counter beside me , and I started putting my clothes back on and stripping out of the hospital gown . I was a little sore but I ignored it and I finished putting my clothes on when the door opened and I quickly turned around when I heard a squeal .

" My baby " I heard and I was pulled into a gently hug and I immediately hugged back .

My stepmom hugged me and I felt her tears on my shoulder and I sighed trying not to cry , during this whole situation I've tired to be strong but I know it'll hit me later .

" What happened the nurse only told us that someone brought you here , and you were passed out " She said wiping her tears and my dad was standing by the door and he was trying to be strong but tears were running down his eyes .

I didn't know what to say , I didn't want to tell them what actually happened I didn't even want them to know about Kash .

" Uhh I was very dehydrated at work , and I passed out and someone brought me here " I said making up a quick lie and they both nodded and I sighed .

" Your mom told us , you were no longer staying with her what's that about " My dad said after he pulled me into a hug .

" She kicked me out because we were having too many disagreements , but the money you gave me I found me a place to stay " I said and I shrugged still not telling them about Kash .

" Well are you okay , do you need anything " ? He said and I shook my head no .

" I'm okay dad I promise " I said and he sighed and nodded.

" When the doctors called us this morning I didn't know what to say " he said and I nodded .

" I understand dad but I'm fine " I said and Katlyn looked at me and then my dad .

" Baby give us a minute " she said and he nodded and walked out of the room and I looked at her as we sat on the hospital bed .

" Now tell me exactly what's going on " she said and I sighed and told her what was going on .

I told her everything that was going on , even up to the point about me being pregnant and her face was the exact same face I had when the doctor told me .

" Damn girl you only been gone for about 5 months " she said and we both laughed .

" But what are you going to do about the baby " she said and I sighed .

" I don't know , I don't want to keep it " I said and she slapped my arm .

" What the hell do you mean you don't want to keep it , You are going to keep it " she said and I sighed .

" How am I going to tell everyone , my dad , Kash or even my mom she already hates me " I said and she nodded .

" First off your dad is going to understand your still in school so he's going to be a little upset about that but I know you and I know your going to stay on top of your work .  Kash the dude you was telling me about the way he's been catering to you , from at least what you told me he's not going to be upset like you think he is . You just have to tell him because he helped you create it , that baby is 50% him so invite him over and tell him . Yeah he's your mom's boyfriend but at the end of the day you both knew what you were doing , y'all both old enough to know right from wrong . As far as your mom go , I don't know what to say because she's completely abandoned you , and I had to beat her ass about you but I don't know Id let Kash tell her but you need to be there .

" When do I do all this " ? I said and she sighed and rubbed my shoulders .

" That's all up to you my love , whenever you're ready it can be when your 2 months or when you're 9 months but it's whenever you're ready  Me and your dad are going home tomorrow so you can tell him whenever you're ready just don't let it be over the phone come to visit then tell and bring Kash if all this works out . " She said and I nodded .

" Okay and thank you so much mama K I needed this " I said and we both stood up .

" Of course baby that's what I'm here for " she said and left the room after she told me to text her later . I looked down at my phone and Kash had texted me .

Kash 💘 : I know they released you today , I'm waiting outside I'm in my car .

Me : okay I'm coming .

I locked my phone and grabbed my stuff and a nurse stopped me and told me I had to be in a wheelchair in order to leave . I got in the wheelchair and she rolled me out until I spotted Kash's car and I slowly got up and grabbed my stuff and got in .

" You good , how you feeling " he said .

" I'm okay I feel fine " I said .

He nodded and pulled off I was lost in my thoughts trying to figure out how I was going to tell him . I was nervous what if he left me alone to tend to this baby ? What if he leaves me and act as If nothing happened and goes to my mom ? What if he forces me to get an abortion?  We pulled up to my house , and we both got out I was so happy to be home . All I wanted was to get in my bed and rest .

Kash 💘

Is she going to tell me ? I hope she tells me because I've always wanted a child . Even though we're not in the ideal circumstance I still want her to keep this baby . We went in her room and she laid in her bed , and I could tell she was in her thoughts and debating on how she was going to tell me .

" Jarred " she said using my real name and I snapped my head towards her because I'm not used to her using my real name .

" Wassup babygirl " ? I said and she sighed .

" When I was at the hospital ... they gave me some news " she said and I nodded .

" What was it " I said and she looked ahead and she rubbed her thighs .

" I'm pregnant " she said and it's like a weight was lifted off my shoulders .

" You are " I said as a smile crept on my face .

" You're not mad " she said and I looked at her crazy .

" No I'm not mad " I said and she sat up .

" I'm actually excited I've always wanted a child , and now you're giving me one I'm ready " I said and she started to smile but it dropped .

" What about my mom " she said and I sighed .

" Don't worry about that I'll handle it , you just rest up and worry about this baby " I said and she nodded and looked at me .

" Are you going to stay with me " ? She asked .

I laid beside her and pulled her into me and I kissed her cheek .

" Where am I going " ? I said and she smiled and closed her eyes and she dozed off into a deep sleep.

I didn't know how I was going to break the news to her mother , but I was going to because this is what I wanted and I want to be here for her and my child and nothing was going to stop me .
