𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞. 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐰𝐨.

     𝐈𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐒 since Newt met Y/n and their instantly became friends. Today was Y/n’s birthday and Newt and Sonya had decided to throw a party for Y/n. Just a little one with only Sonya and Newt attending. "Sonya, do you have the balloons?" Newt called from the hallway.
     "Yes, I'll be down in a second." Sonya shouted back from upstairs. Sonya was in charge of the balloons and Newt was in charge of the presents. Obviously Sonya bought her own present for Y/n and Newt did too. He was just in charge of getting them into the car. Sonya came down the stairs a minute later carrying the balloons, wearing a black and white t-shirt, black jeans, a yellow sweater, and black ankle boots.
     "You ready to go now Sonya?" Newt asked.
     "Yeah." She replied. Newt grabbed his keys and the presents and went to the car. Newt had put the presents in the backseat as well as the balloons. They drove to the hospital and greeted the lady at the front desk before making their way to Y/n's room. When they got there, Sonya knocked. The door opened to reveal Y/n in her usual hospital gown but this time she wore a grey hoodie over top of it and she wasn’t carrying her IV pole. Y/n immediately gave them both tight hugs. "Happy birthday, Y/n." Newt smiled  as she kissed his cheek.
     "Thanks guys." Y/n said. They walked in her room and Y/n sat down on her bed. "So what does the birthday girl want to do today?" Sonya asked.
     "Well I was thinking we could have a Harry Potter ." Y/n suggested.
     "That sounds like a great idea, but first you have to open you gifts."    Sonya said as she handed them to Y/n. Y/n opened her first gift which happens to be Newt’s, inside, there was a charm bracelet, a new journal, because she liked to write, some new pencils, and the sequel novel to the Delirium series, that was her favorite series.
     Y/n looked up at Newt and smiled, "Thank you Newt. I love them." Newt smiled back at her. Next was Sonya's present. Inside, was a bunch of Harry Potter stuff including her very own wand. Y/n laughed and smiled at Sonya, "Thanks Sonya, they're amazing.
     Y/n and Newt sat on Y/n’s bed with the covers pulled up over their legs, Y/n's head was resting on Newt’s shoulder while they watched Harry Potter: The Goblet Of Fire. Sonya had left 20 minutes ago to finish a history essay so it was just the two them now. Newt couldn't help but hold Y/n's hand and play with her fingers. They sat in silence for a few more seconds until Y/n spoke up, lifting her head up to face Newt.
    "Newt, I want to thank you for staying with me a little while longer."
    "Of course Y/n, I wouldn't want to be anywhere but here with you." Newt said, they looked into each other's eyes and Newt couldn't help but lean in, he noticed that Y/n was leaning in too and his heartbeat had quickened. Their lips finally met and they moved in sync, her lips are soft against his. They eventually pulled apart and she rested her head back on Newt’s shoulder while they continued watching the movie.
