It was months of preparation for Angela, and after being offered 12 million, Tao decided to put her into Mars Brightest to guarentee her debut.

He was never one for failure, obviously, and so it wasn't surprising that he would take that route. I happened to be there prior to him spreading the news because of some business I had with Tao before they arrived, but I decided to leave with them.

As the elevator lowered, the two of them standing on the other side, the manager spoke first.

"So, what is your affiliation with Tao?"
I smiled, "I believe my affiliations shouldn't concern you."

"I just want to make sure some hoolagin isn't getting in the way of my Angela's progress with Mr. Tao, and of course her success. If you think-"

I sighed loudly, exaggerating my breath to make her shut up in shock, "Man do I ever hate the sound of your voice." She gasped in offense, "Don't you think if dear Angela had a problem with me, she would have come crying to you about it by now?"

Angela scoffed, "Don't look down on me." She hissed, "It's true you don't get in my way, but if you do..." She paused, walking up to me as if to intimidate me.

Too bad I was at least three inches taller, "You'll regret it. Nothing will get in my way, especially not some ugly waste of space like you."

I eyed her as the elevator dinged, the doors opened and her mother left first. Before she could follow, I cracked a smile, just to piss her off.

I walked out ahead and made them watch me go, exciting the building and heading towards the garage to get to my bike.
