Mitch leaned on the door behind him and sighed. Tears were dripping from his eyes to the thought of his loved one. His loved one, who was now with another guy. His loved one, whom Mitch was now too late to approach. And as it couldn't be worse, they were roommates, best friends and work partners. Their improbable love had everything to go wrong. And they had a tour ahead. A tour for them to spend every single hour together, a tour for Mitch to fall in love with Scott even more, while holding on the thought that he would never belong to him.
He reached the bottle of wine.
He took a sip.
He took another sip.
In less than ten minutes, it was gone. Mitch was not an alcoholic, but this situation required it. He stumbled to reach his phone, unintentionally kicking the empty bottle.
-Hello? - a cute, soft voice sounded from the other side.
-Kirstie, are you busy tonight?- He whispered
-I'm not. Is everything okay?
-Yes, I just drank a little. Scott's with Alex again.
-Oooh, I see. - She immediately realised he was doing terrible - Honey, hold on a little. I'm going to get you. You need some distraction.
-Kirstie, sweetheart, you don't need to...
-I'm leaving now. We're going for a walk. It'll be fun! - Kirstie's front door shutting sounded from behind.
In ten minutes Kirstin was at Mitch's door and an old bottle of whisky was halfway over. He let her in. Kirstie looked surprised towards Mitch's aspect. She could easily notice he had been crying, and the way he opened the door denounced the extra alcohol he drank. She immediately pulled him into a hug.
-Oh, honey - she said, running her fingers through his hair - I'm so sorry.
Mitch didn't want to let go of the hug. He felt so comfortable near her. She looked at the bottles on the floor.
-Okay, you're definitely not going anywhere tonight. I'm going to sleep over, is that okay? - She asked. He needed someone to take care of him, and she couldn't leave him by himself at least until Scott was back.
-Yeah, but I don't wanna stay here... I need some distraction.
-Mitch, it's 4 pm and you're drunk, where do you wanna go?
-I don't know... let's kiss some guys we don't know and pretend it's Scott.
She grinned.
-No.
-Then I'll keep drinking. - He took the whisky bottle and started drinking wildly. She took it from him, spilling some liquid to the floor.
-Mitch, come on! Let's just watch a movie and I'll make us dinner. Oh, and we could do some karaoke! And then I'm sure Scott will be here in no time.
"No he won't", Mitch thought, "he's having fun over at his ex boyfriend's place because I'm not enough. I'll never be enough."
-Okay - he gave in.

Scott's pov
Why is it that I can't pay any attention to the movie? All I know is that we were both sitting quite awkwardly but I can tell he's trying to move closer to me. It's so cute that he's being so careful to make a move - he probably doesn't want to force anything. Okay, I'll give him the green light.
