Nina's POVFriday 9:32 am
I woke up to someone harshly knocking on my bedroom door and opening it. I grumbled, hiding my face into one of my pillows. It's way too early for this shit.
"Nina, you have to get up right now and start getting ready." Mom said, sounding like she was in a hurry.
"Whyyyyy, what do I need to get ready for during this time of hour." I groaned, glaring at the white ceiling.
"Today is Orientation Day at your new school and I want you to introduce yourself to your teachers and get familiar with the campus." She explained, opening up the blinds in my room. "Your father would've come with us, but he had work errands to attend to this morning. Be ready by 10:30."
She walked out and closed the door behind her, leaving me alone to think about what I should wear. I got up, still rubbing my eyes as I walked into the closet.
I decided to go for a casual look, picking out a white oversized Champions shirt, light blue high waisted jeans, Air Force 1's, and a purse to go with the outfit.
I laid my outfit onto the bed accordingly and quickly ran into the bathroom. I took off my pjs and put my hair into a messy bun, since I already washed it the day before. I jumped into the shower and began to freshen up.
Only being in the new house for a few days, there really wasn't that much left to put together. I still wanted to decorate and make the room more cozy, but I have all the time in the world to do that.
I stepped out of the shower and started to dry myself with a towel, checking the time on my phone.
Fuck. I now had less than twenty minutes to get dressed and look presentable before walking out the door.
I grabbed the clothes and shoes that were on my bed and walked back into the bathroom. I changed and took my hair out of the messy bun, spraying on a few products to make it look decent.
Since I had clear skin and didn't have as many breakouts as I used to, I only put on some mascara, lip balm, and filled in my eyebrows to make them look fuller.
I did all the necessary hygiene stuff that every human being should do, checked myself in the mirror one last time and grabbed my purse that had my phone and wallet inside. I walked downstairs checking my phone to see I finished just in time.
I looked towards the kitchen to see my mother sitting on one of the stools on her phone, probably checking her work schedule. She looked up from the screen and smiled in satisfaction, seeing I was ready for the orientation.
"Woah honey, you look super cute. And you're on time ? That never happens." She chuckled, grabbing the car keys to her Range Rover Sport.
"That's only because I don't want to hear your yelling this early in the morning." I said letting out a small laugh, grabbing an apple for the car ride.
