Nina's POV

Thursday 12:05 pm

"Hawaiian pizza hits different than other pizza, I don't care what anyone says." Tonei said, munching away on her pizza she went off campus to get.

"Pineapple doesn't belong on pizza you weirdo." Liv said, making a disgusted face.

"You ate an entire pickle alone one morning and I'm the one who's weird." Tonei retorted, continuing to eat her pizza.

"That was different, there was nothing in the fridge that day, what was I supposed to do, starve ?" Liv said defending herself.

"Pickles aren't meant to be eaten in the morning though." Tonei said, shaking her head.

They both start arguing back and forth and I was laughing at how stupid the conversation was, eating the Caesar salad that I got from the cafeteria.

My first week at Sherman Oaks High was going pretty well. I made some new friends and my classes were easy for the most part. If only Paxton would stop hitting on me during math class. I wonder what his deal is.

"Hey hey chill out. How about we change the subject before there's a fight in the courtyard." I chuckled and they both gave each other a glare, turning their attention towards me.

"I actually do wanna ask you guys about something." I said, playing around with the lettuce in my bowl.

"Shoot away, we're all ears." Liv said, taking a sip out of her water bottle.

"What's the deal with Paxton Hall-Yoshida ?" I asked and Liv spit out her water to the side, looking at Tonei who was already looking at her.

"Do you wanna tell her or should I ?" Tonei asked and Liv shook her head quickly, "You've known him way longer than I have."

Tonei nodded, clearing her throat and looking straight at me. I gulped nervously, putting my food aside.

Oh god. How bad can this guy possibly be. It pained me to ask, but I had to know who I was dealing with.

"I'm just ganna get straight to the point, he's a fuck boy. Always has been. He takes interest in a girl, then after he screws her, he leaves and finds some other girl to humiliate." Tonei says bluntly, finishing her food.

"And the entire school knows he's a fuck boy, but almost every girl still wants to hook up or be with him, it's insane." Liv chuckled.

"I mean I definitely see the appeal. He's a hot guy who's captain of the swim team. But that still could never be me." Tonei said, concluding her small speech.

"Why are you asking us about him anyway?" Liv questioned, trying to read my facial expression.

Ughhhh man. So not only is he the biggest douche in the world, he also happens to be the biggest fuck boy. What am I about to be dragged into.

I took a deep breath, looking the two of them in the eyes and told them everything that was going on. From the day at orientation, to me having a class with him, his constant flirting, every detail I had.

"Oh my fucking god, it's happening." Liv said face palming, looking down at the plain picnic table.

"I had a feeling he was a player, but I didn't know he was this bad." I sighed, laying my head on the table.

"You're definitely his next target Nina, good luck with that seriously. When he's sees something, he won't give up til you give in." Tonei spoke truthfully, not making me feel any better.
