After Dino and Frank came back inside, the doctor talked to Dino, "Caroline is going to be okay. She's stabilizing and there's no damage to any of her organs. Her body just went into shock for a little bit since the twins came so early. It was her first pregnancy and her body just panicked."
Dean breathed out a huge sigh of relief.
"We've started reducing the sleeping medication so she's waking up and she wants to see you." Dean dashed away to go see her and so Frank thanked the doctor and then followed Dean.
Caroline's bright green eyes spotted Dino and he rushed to her bed side; kneeling on the floor, he buried his head in her hospital gown as she let out sobs that were heart shattering. When she caught her breath, she finally whispered, "I'm sorry, Dino."
"Don't be sorry, Baby," he said through his sobs. He looked up at her with his big, wet brown eyes, "I love you."
She cried and choked out, "I love you too." While Caroline and Dean grieved their loss, Frank went to see Dino's parents to let them know what had happened. He comforted them and then returned to the hospital. He peaked in Caroline's room and saw Dino and her sitting together holding hands, but in silence.
"Hey," he whispered.
Caroline's lip quivered, "Frank."
He entered the room and hugged her, "How are you feeling, Kid?"
She just nodded as emotion began to overcome her. The three of them then sat there in silence. Dino holding Caroline's hand and Frank sitting with his hand on Dino's shoulder.
When Caroline was sent home two days later, Mamma and Papa brought groceries and food over. Frank had planned to stay with the Martins until everything returned partially to normal.
Months later, Caroline and Dean packed their bags to take a trip to Vegas. Frank had it arranged for Dean and himself to perform at The Sands. Caroline would be there and as she felt like it, she could perform with the boys.
She helped Dino get ready. As she tucked his pocket square into his pocket, he put his hand on her face, "I love you," he said quietly.
"I love you too, Honey."
"Do you wanna sing tonight?" Dino asked.
"No, I just wanna watch tonight, Honey."
Dino nodded and smiled at her. Moments later, Frank and Dino went on stage. The crowd went wild for Dino as they had heard what had happened to Dino and his beautiful bride. It brought tears to Caroline's eyes. The audience then began to scream for Caroline. Dino looked to the side of the stage and nodded to Caroline. She walked out onto the stage and grabbed Dino's hand and blew kisses to the audience. The accepted the standing ovation and Caroline returned to the side of the stage.
Frank and Dino were a hit as always. When it came time to start closing the show, Dino said, "Well, I have a song that I've only ever sang for a small bar or in rehearsals. This song is for my beautiful wife. I love you, Baby," he said looking at her.

When he finished, Caroline had tears streaming down her face. Dino went off the stage to where she was standing to allow Frank to finish the show.
"Dino," she whispered, "I'm expecting."
"What?" he gasped.
She nodded and held her tightly, "I love you."
